Cottage holiday rentals in Usson-du-Poitou

For a few days we were able to enjoy the beauty and comfort of this cottage, located in the heart of a very charming area, as well as the kindness of its owners, Kenneth and Jan. We would highly recommend it and will gladly stay again.

Great weekend at Frédéric's, his accommodation was simply perfect for my friend, my dog and me. The accommodation is located in a small street with no passage, ideal for a relaxing weekend. Frédéric is very friendly, he knows his region and its history perfectly and will guide you on the beautiful things to do and see (Oradour, Lac Saint Pardoux, Le Roc d'Enfer, etc.) Thank you to him for his hospitality and kindness, we had a great weekend ☀️ Laurie, Sarah, and Loki.

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming gite. The hosts, Samantha and Jamie were so very friendly and welcoming. They made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was spotless, well equipped, very comfortable and had 2 outdoor areas to relax and admire the pretty garden. We enjoyed it so much we would love to visit again. Julie and Keith have created a haven of peace and tranquility at their beautiful gite. The gardens are stunning and the gite is superb, extremely comfortable and full of thoughtful touches. everything was perfect. very good stay. very well equipped. nice setting. the pool and exteriors are very nice. close to the Valley of the Monkeys. to be redone.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose's place in Villefagnan, for many reasons. Yvette greeted us, showed us how to use everything, and answered all my questions and requests for help. Rose's home is very comfortable. Top quality beds, pillows and linens, empty dressers so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on. The beautiful backyard, with grass, flowers and cherry trees was our favorite place to spend a sunny afternoon. And the village of Villefagnan is wonderful, too. The town square is 2 houses away, and the patisserie is just across the square, so we had fresh croissants every morning. Two restaurants, a bouchère, a corner market, Tobac, and a pharmacy make up the rest of the village, everything you need. There are bike roads in every direction, so our dogs enjoyed long walks every day. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

What an amazing place! Lots of space, lush greenery and very well-maintained park. Beautiful stone buildings, authentic, Idyllic calm, near a superb mill accompanied by animals (birds, chevres, rabbits, sheep, guinea pig...) and activities (kayaking, trampoline, pétanque, foosball, billiards, table tennis, books...) . We had a wonderful stay, in the heart of nature. The owners are very discreet and attentive to the slightest need, very kind. The accommodation is very well equipped, spacious, clean and comfortable. Thanks again for a fabulous family stay that we will not forget!

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. We spent 2 days in this peaceful retreat, under beautiful spring sunshine. Our host was very welcoming, the place was very nice and perfectly matched his description. We highly recommend it!

Thanks again to Brian and Tracey! We were very well received, with great care. The house is very cute, with lots of amenities. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom spacious. The garden is very pretty, the view incredible and the pool, of course, very pleasant when it's very hot. There are plenty of small places to relax: dine on the terrace, have an aperitif in front of the view, dry in the sun at the exit of the pool, read near the stove on very comfortable sofas, dine with the family by the fire. Really, the property has been tastefully furnished and the hosts are very attentive.

Debbie’s gîte is amazing! The gîte is huge - large living, dining and kitchen area with a fabulous mezzanine bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Everything you could want was provided. Loved our stay but unfortunately the weather was so awful we were unable to use the pool. The upside of that is we used the wood burner which was amazingly warm and made the gîte even more homely. Debbie and Steve were great hosts too - highly recommend!

My dad and his friends were very happy with the accommodation. As in the photos, very peaceful and very pleasant place. a great stay. Only small downside there is no wifi and very little network. I would recommned this property

What a pleasure to stay in Rebekah’s gite. Everything about it was perfect, we were only sorry we didn’t book for longer to make the most of the surroundings. It was peaceful, comfortable and homely. The evenings got a little chilly so we were able to light the wood burner and cosy up. We’d definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay at Stephen and Giuliana’s beautiful gite. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed and more! They provided lots of useful information before and during our stay, and were very helpful. The private pool and fab shower were much appreciated!
