My friend and I recently stayed at your cottage near Nottingham Road, and we wanted to express how perfect it was for our needs. We were looking for a quiet place to catch up and spend time outdoors, without being too far from the hub of restaurants/shops and bars. The cottage had everything we needed, including super comfortable beds, a cosy fireplace, and breathtaking views. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend this tranquil stay! This is a peaceful place and very lovely and clean.

We were in for an adventure with the heavy snowfall overnight and the power being off in the area of Karkloof but luckily we had lots of firewood and a gas heater and gas stove and had Thomas come to the rescue with a bulldozer to clear the road. The location is very unique and love the design and layout of the house. Very cosy and special.

One of the best experiences we’ve ever had and simply not enough space to adequately describe the untouched beauty of this place. Sue & team’s hospitality was on point & made our stay even more enjoyable. This is a one of a kind experience where you have this unit, situated atop the mountain all to yourself - the peacefulness and unique nature of this stay is unmatched. The road up is a great 4x4 adventure with multiple fauna and flora spotting opportunities, streams, dams & natural springs to swim in. If you’re a nature/outdoor lover, this stay is a must-experience one. We will most certainly be back.

We spent a week at Jessica's B & B, it was exactly like the pictures, the Farmhouse was spacious and had everything that we needed for a home away from home. Jessica was very responsive and friendly. George, the resident pet, visited us often and even went for runs with us ! Thank you Jessica for a wonderful week in the mountains. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much - The Green Lantern was really lovely, it was beautiful and we had a warm welcome. Doggies and kids all welcome and it works so well in the tranquil setting. The food at the restaurant was very good - I have one recommendation though, if the menu could be sent and people can also order ahead specially since the restaurant only takes orders until 8pm. Loved the table tennis and the staff and chess.
