Fully renovated in 2019, Løðupakkhúsið features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and wooden flooring. It is located in the gorgeous village of Sandavágur, which is 12min from the airport and approx 25min from the capital Tórshavn. It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn. We promise a truly magical and secluded place, with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows - all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall.

It is located just 2 min drive from the airport, and a few minutes drive to Gásadalur, Múlafoss, Sørvágsvatn, Trælanýpa, and the ferry to Mykines, and boattrips are just a few minutes away. There are good parking conditions.

You can find our cosy cottage in our backyard just by the sea. Here you can relax and enjoy the quiet neighborhood and beautiful surroundings. The cottage is suitable for a couple or two persons. Within a walking distance, there is a café/bar, tourist center, sagamuseum, souvenirshop, restaurant, birdcliff sightseeing, sea angling trips and a grocery store. 500 m to the bus connection to Tórshavn.
