We have had a great stay and I definitely recommend it!

Words cannot describe how beautiful this experience was from start to finish. But we will do our best. To start with the space itself, the location is ideally situated both in its proximity to local sites and the city of Bergen, as well as the cabins location off grid but close enough to civilisation to not be fully isolated. The space around the cabin between two waterfalls is gorgeous and was a truly fantasy like experience. The cabin itself is rustic yet modern where it counts, with a gorgeous bathroom and reliable and clean facilities throughout. The interior design and attention to detail is fantastic and you can really feel the love the owners have put in. Finally, the hosts are incredible, best hosts I've ever had. Friendly, enormously helpful, welcoming, offered privacy, offered advise and never made us feel bad for asking. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a magical stay, and they succeeded at every step! If you're thinking of booking, don't think twice.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at the cabin. There was plenty of space for our family of four, a great open layout and beautiful views from every window. There was safe and quiet space around the cabin for the children to play outdoors, and toys available inside the cabin, too. Our host was wonderful and so responsive to all queries, they couldn’t have done more to make it the perfect place for a week in the snow. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time in the blue huts, very well maintained and cozy. The view from the sofa was fantastic. We recommend the nearby hikes to Høgabu and Gollhorgabu.

We had a really great week here with family. A very comfortable, cosy cabin! Linda is a great host, she is kind and attentive. The living room is really spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The weather was very rainy so we appreciated coming back to a warm place, it has a nice fire and plenty of hot water for a lovely bath or shower too. We even had a swim in the nearby lake despite the weather, and did lots of local walks and sightseeing. Great surroundings, I’m sure it would be beautiful in the snow too, would love to come in winter! The path was a bit wet up to the cabin, though we did have a week of torrential rain as it seems to have been a particularly wet August, wellingtons are useful. The first time we drove up the steep road we did struggle a bit as only have a small car, but as long as you get a bit of speed up at the bottom it’s manageable. Thanks for a lovely place to stay in the mountains, we would definitely stay again if back in the area!

We had a fantastic time in the cabin. Everything we needed was there, and communication was excellent. If you're looking for remote yet easily accessible accommodation, this is the place. Everything was clean and newly furnished.

The family spent a wonderful 5 summer days here and re-discovering the lovely Voss area of Norway. The house is situated in a beautiful rural location on part of a family hillside farm, and has a great deal of history and charm. It faces south and has a fine view, also with great walks from the front door, heading up a mountain valley and along a scenic river with some good bathing pools. Many thanks to Leon and Bente who were so helpful and friendly, and their local lamb was really tasty. The house is quite remote and quite a distance up a country track from local services and amenities. The bathroom is small but perfectly fine and clean, with good washing machine, and the wooden staircase is steep but also fine for us. The beds are very comfortable. We paid extra at the end for bedding & towels, electricity, & wi-fi (which was sometimes a little unreliable). As long as you love such typical country places, and know what to expect, you will have a memorable stay. We may return!

Thank you for the nice days in Oddsbu . The fit was excellent as we were fishing 3 days in the Bolstad River . A nice cabin with plenty of space , nice and well equipped kitchen , a Salmon history knocked into all the walls . Yes a fantastic cabin and place . thanks for having us

I had two great weeks at Camilla's cabin! Very cozy place to be: sit in front of the fireplace with a cuppa and look out over the water. Very useful with stove and fridge on gas, and otherwise lighting from solar. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook great food. The water is nice to fish in either from land or from a boat. If you are visiting the cabin, feel free to bring boots - quite wet path from the parking lot. Would definitely recommend visiting the cabin if you want some quiet days with a good book, or if you want to go out in the mountains :)

Absolutely perfect. We felt so comfortable and would have loved to stay another 2 weeks! That was the best accommodation I've been to so far!

This secluded house was a beautiful stay. The photos didn’t do it justice. The house was so warm, clean and modern. Had everything we needed. The views were amazing and fire well stocked. Highly recommend Bjartes place.

Really enjoyed at Monica's place! The kids had a great time with a trampoline and playhouse, the dog warmed in front of the fireplace after long walks in the forest around, and we adults enjoyed the tranquility and silence. It was nice to also get to know the bush trolls ☺️

Although we only spent one night at the accommodation, we took a lovely walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. Sunniva welcomed us with a warm and cozy home — the fireplace was already crackling when we arrived, filled with freshly added firewood. She even showed us a newborn lamb, which was such a special experience. The place has a very charming and inviting atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at Jarand’s cabin! The location is incredible and the cabin had stunning views. We enjoyed going for a hike in the area and going for a cool down in the stream. The cabin had everything we needed, including things to make coffee and easy meals. We were a bit worried about finding it, but Jarand gave helpful directions. If you follow Google maps to the coordinates, you’ll find where you should park easily and then have a short but steep hike up a clearly marked path. It was wonderful to disconnect for a few days and we have already recommended Jarand’s place to a few friends!

Really a very beautiful chalet that is really in an extraordinary place, and it is sure that you have to calculate a good 45 minutes between the city of Voss and the chalet, but I tell you it's worth it. No one would show you this magnificent road, it is for those who love the mountains a lot. Very well equipped with all amenities. I highly recommend this place. We were very well received by the Host.
