Holiday rentals with a pool in Valado dos Frades

Had such a lovely week in Nazaré. Rachelle was such a great host - we were delayed due to flight delays on arrival and she waited until 1:30am to say hi to us and show us around. She was very responsive with replies and we locked our key in the house and she dropped one off straight away! The house was really clean and had lots of cooking amenities. We opted to have the pool heated for the extra €120 and I woukd definitely recommend this as it was really warm! The property is a little bit far outside of nazare centre, so you really need to get taxis to and from town but we used Ubers a lot which were only €4 each way. We surfed most days at Praia des pareses which is a lovely beach with great waves. Overall a lovely trip. Would recommend. Only minor issue was having to be quiet after 10pm and not use the pool after this time so if you are wanting a more party week then I’d probably look at other options. Functional, pleasant and spacious house. As described and photos. Host welcoming and responsive. There are no negative points. We had a great time. You can rent this house without hesitation. If we return to Portugal, we will undoubtedly try to rent this house again. There were 8 of us, 7 adults and 1 child. The pool is lovely. And the hosts are very welcoming. The bottle of wine offered on arrival is a bonus that is very much appreciated.

The villa is well equipped and is a great location as a starting point for day trips, multiple coast locations within 20 - 30 minutes. The villa has all you can need for a family holiday, the pool is big enough for a family holiday it has a small shelf step which my granddaughter (3yrs old) used to help with her swimming which was great. The host is very responsive if you need any help and provided simple but clear answers. Would recommend for a family holiday as long as you had a car, there is limited access to restaurants local to the property but not a negative for our family but worth knowing.

This spacious home is within walking distance of the Nazare waves (visited in January), offering views from both the beach and the lighthouse. It's conveniently located for day trips to Lisbon and charming nearby towns. The home is in a quiet area, features scenic views, and includes most essentials for cooking. Note that the beds are quite firm, so consider bringing a sleeping pad if you prefer softer support. The host was friendly and provided helpful information about the area and the property.

The apartment was super clean, very tastefully decorated and well equipped. The view from the terrace and through the huge window front was really, really beautiful. The environment is very quiet, we were able to switch off well. Arran & Oliver were very friendly hosts who provided us with informative and helpful tips about the apartment and the area in advance. Check-in and check-out were straightforward. Thanks for a great stay!! ☺️

Nice little apartment with great communal pool and terrace

If Airbnb ratings went to 10 stars this listing would easily gain them all. Elmien and Cobus’ accommodation is very comfortable, extremely clean and in a peaceful and beautiful location. They are incredibly friendly and gracious hosts and people. If we are back in the area we will def stay here again and if you’re reading this you should too, you won’t regret it.

Luis and his Mom are amazing hosts, we loved the welcome treats when we got there. The house is very spacious, very nice and with very comfortable beds, with a well stocked kitchen. They have made their backyard look like a resort and we appreciated the nice sound of the waterfall by the pool in the morning. The area is very peaceful and you are away from tourists, yet it is a short drive to Nazare, and other beach towns. We liked staying at their home because we were supporting a family business.

This was our best experience renting for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back because of the interactions had with Rickard and Lana. From the beginning they called and talked to us about best places to surf, resturants, etc. They let us know exactly what to expect. We had to reschedule due to a family emergency and they accommodated us no question and helped make it an easy process. Once we got to the airport they helped instruct us how to get to the place. Upon arrival the place was exactly what was pictured and pristine. It was perfect for us with the best view in Baleal. We got to watch the sunset over the ocean from our balcony! Rickard and Lana were available to answer any questions promptly! They are considered super DUPER hosts in my eyes. 100 out of 10! We will be back!
