Such a beautiful location and wonderful home! From the moment we walked in we were speechless. The host thought of every little detail and our family would love to make this an annual visit! If you are thinking about booking…DO IT!!

We had such a wonderful stay in this very private, cozy home. We enjoyed walking the beautiful moss covered wooded trails with the dogs and collected a few turkey feathers while wondering. The stars were amazing at night and the milky way was visible. We had a fire outside to relax by when it got cooler outside during our stay. South Haven and the beach is only a shirt drive away to pick up groceries or food from one of the restaurants. The Van Buren State park and nature preserve also very close. The home itself was very comfortable, clean, and had all the things we needed to feel right at home and relax. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay. We would love to come back!

Sarah’s place was very clean and extremely well equipped in every aspect, kitchen, bathroom supplies, outdoor etc. So many amenities, we felt like we were still home . The basement was such a great addition for kids and adults to play ping pong, air hockey, arts and crafts. Kids can spend hours down there. Backyard is fenced and although it backs to I-196, we were not bothered. I cannot imagine how beautiful it is once the trees are green. If you have kids and want to get away from the city with minimal planning of all the things to bring, this is the place. There is a beach nearby, 3 min drive, cannot wait to come back during summer months. Sarah, thank you for your gracious hospitality.

Terry provides a clean home away from home for anyone staying in the area. Plenty of activities and every convenience that you need is nearby.

We loved this place. The ducks in the lake that visited frequently. The details were carefully chosen. The comfort, the stove, the spacing gave us room to move, the games created memories for us to enjoy and talk about. Thank you for a lovely experience.

2nd year we've stayed here. Great house and great host. Already looking forward to coming back again next year.

Michael & Angela are awesome host. Beautiful lakeside home. very clean and perfect for a traveling Family although I stayed alone. nice gameroom for warm months and a great view of Lake Michigan. all the amenities and kitchen appliances to feel right at home. 5 stars are easily worthy.

I really loved this Airbnb, they have a very special home and make you feel welcomed! I absolutely loved the little details they did (candy next to bed, dental floss, cotton pads for face) are just a few!!! It was so relaxing

The entire place was decorated beautifully, and in addition to the amazing pool and hot tub, there were just so many other things to d9 in and outside the house. It was just perfect!, and we will be back!!

We had wonderful time at RayLene’s campsite. The RV is very comfortable, really clean and well maintained. It has everything you need to prepare food , make coffee, get ice , wash dishes. The beds are comfortable and we had a great night sleep. There are board games for children, as well as outdoor games such as pickle ball, soft ball, and many others . The owner has thought through every little detail. We used the grill to cook outside during the day and made s’mores in the evening. We enjoyed the pool and a playground. The guests bathrooms and showers next to the pool are new , clean and beautiful! You can also enjoy Tv and fireplace near the pool or play games provided. We went to downtown to the festival, were lucky to find great parks for hiking, as well as beautiful beaches. Don’t hesitate, book it. The place is excellent !

This is a beautiful home with plenty of space for large family. We had 7 adults and 3 children and still had plenty of room to move about. Phoebe was fantastic with her communication from start to finish. If heading anywhere near South Haven, Michigan, be sure to give this location a look.

Such a great place to stay as a family! Right next to the pool, lots of helpful things like sand toys and beach chairs. Jason and Claire always responded very quickly and gave us some great local recommendations. Really enjoyed our stay!

We could not have asked for a better place to have a few days get away with our family. The house was clean, bright and had all the basic necessities you need especially if you have a family with young kids. The pool was great and only a few minutes walk. Our kids loved it as well as the game room in the garage. You can also walk to a nearby beach if you wanted and downtown South Haven is minutes away. We had a wonderful stay and looking forward to booking our next trip!

Had a great week at Iris’s place! Very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of room for our extended family - basement was great for the kids. Enjoyed the pool and it was an easy walk to the beach. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful! Very clean and spacious ! The house was stocked up with everything you need , from all kitchen things to strollers, wagons and so much more ! Russ was friendly and sent clear instructions days prior . We will definitely book again when we are in the area !

Really great place! 6 adults and a dog had 4 comfortable nights here! Plenty of space, easy to get places and neighborhood to walk around. Owners very responsive and cooperative. 5 stars!!

Pros: Sean was everything we needed and want in a host: accomodating, knowledgeable, and very responsive. Thank you for sharing your house! Sean's place was very clean and full of indoor and outdoor activities. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and backyard dock entrance into Paw Paw lake. Kitchen was fully stocked with every cooking tool that we needed for our stay. We had trouble finding nice houses like this in the area that are pet-friendly so were really glad that our furry babies were able to stay with us. Cons: Some of the blinds were missing in the upstairs bedrooms which, if you're not a light sleeper like me, shouldn't matter too much. I did feel the $1K a night was steep but inflation has hiked up everything else these days too.

Great place and great weekend. Very responsive with questions when we needed anything at the house. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend away with family and friends.

We spent a week at this beautiful lake house and truly didn’t want to leave. The views were stunning, the house was cozy and spotless, and every day felt like a dream. From quiet mornings on the dock to swimming, fishing, boating and games. We made the best family memories here. It was the perfect escape—peaceful, charming, and exactly what we needed. Already dreaming of coming back.

Robert's airbnb located inside Kal Haven Outpost was absolutely incredible. My husband and I stayed in the couple's cabin along with our 2 fur babies. It was everything we wanted. The cabin had wonderful amenities: large windows, good lighting, AC/heater, a grill, a fireplace, and an outdoor table. The location was exactly as described. Robert was amazing and communication was top-tier. Robert was quick to answer any questions I had. The community bathrooms were very well kept. I saw Robert and his crew cleaning them every morning. You can tell that the people who run this place are very passionate about what they do. 10/10 highly recommend.
