The Marais Poitevin, known for its waterways, is 1 hour away which can be explored by bicycle, canoe or guided boat trip.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

In the heart of the Poitevin marsh, on the immediate edge of the river, in a quiet area, the accommodation is ideally located to travel between Niort, the marsh, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Futuroscope, Vendée, Puy du Fou, Palmyre Zoo, Ile d'Oléron… Christelle and Jean-Michel, former boatmen guides, will be happy to introduce you to the marsh. You will have at your disposal, free of charge, a boat, a canoe and two bikes.

20 minutes from the Futuroscope and close to the town center of Vouillé in a quiet and wooded area. L'Orée des buis is a 46 m² cottage with independent entrance, single-story, for 2-4 people. An equipped kitchen with its dining area open to the living room with its armchair and sofa bed that converts to a 140 X 190 bed. A bedroom with a 140×190 bed. The bathroom and toilet are separate.
