Holiday rentals with a kayak in Västra Götaland County

The house was very sweet and perfect for a short break for a family. Fengersfors is a pleasant little village, and we really enjoyed using the sauna by the lake which Gaby helped the fix. There's clearly more going on in the village in the summer but there's still plenty of nice walks to do in the area. Gaby was extremely helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Top marks!

We had a beatiful short stay for the midsommar festivities and really liked the place on the little island lilla askerön. The cottage was clean and in walking distance to the water. Barbro was always helpful with local tips. We travelled with a small child and a dog which was no problem at all. We would definitely come back.

We had a lovely time in this great house. It was very cozy and quiet. The view of the lake is simply fantastic. Lotta was always available to us. An all-round beautiful vacation. We can definitely recommend the house and the hostess.

Very beautiful and quiet location in the middle of nature, very well equipped. Perfect place if you want to explore Bohuslankust. Tip from baker Smögens in Grebbestad was perfect.

The top with the pool as the swimming area did not meet our expectations.

The house and surroundings were even more lovely than we’d imagined. The house had so many beautiful touches, Ken and Emilie have taken such care to make it a home from home. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was so comfortable, I can’t remember sleeping so well for years! The lake felt like it was just for us, so nice to swim, canoe and row around. We even had a young moose come in to the lake one day! Plus many other moose sightings nearby - and a sweet resident hare. The area was beautiful for walking, the hamlet of Nasbo was a particularly pretty place to walk to. Tresticklan national park was less than an hour’s drive away for fantastic hiking. Great place with good opportunities for great kayaking trips and barbecues in the garden.

We were allowed to spend our first Christmas and New Year's Eve in Sweden at Johann's and felt very comfortable. We were there with four adults, 2 kids and a dog. The house was large enough for that. Johan decorated the house for Christmas especially for us. Everything was ready when we arrived. You could feel right at home. He was always available for questions and small problems and when the coffee maker was defective, he quickly brought us a new one. The area is beautiful and you have many opportunities to do something even in winter, whether it's exploring small villages in the area or hiking in national parks.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house! We felt very comfortable here, both in the house and in the beautiful surroundings. We were out on the lake by boat and were even able to catch fish, which was a real highlight. We also made nice excursions to the surrounding area and slept wonderfully every night. The fresh eggs from the chickens were great, and we really enjoyed spending time with the cats, dog Ronja, the chickens and of course your dear cows. We especially liked the loving little things in and around the house, and as a little extra we even found a geocache nearby. Thanks to the warm temperatures, we also dared to go swimming! The privacy you get in this place with amazing view right on the edge of a spacious terrace is just amazing The location allows an amerce experience in the natural surroundings Picked some nice yellow chanterelle in a the marked tracks in the forest were its easy for the kids to join. And the nice canoes that you can borrow to explore the lakes close by, was a perfect addition to the activities you can do there The place inside have all you need for a comfortable stay , we were three families and everyone had a lovely time, and was able to cook together with ease as the kitchen is well equipped and spacious

Maria's house is a dream come true! The stay was very special to us, and we felt extremely comfortable from the first moment. The place is not only beautiful and well maintained, but also equipped with so much love for detail that nothing is missing. We highly recommend the house and will be happy to come back! The time we spent in this place was wonderful. On the first day, we met Jenny, who told us what to expect in the area. We encountered a moose and organized a quick walk to the lake. A very pleasant detail was the small treats left by the owner. The following days were filled with family trips around the area, boating, campfires, and visits to the nearby town. Over these few days, we managed to relax, and we left the area with reluctance.

This is one of if not the best stays I’ve had on AirBnB. The service was fantastic. Mario was very welcoming from start to finish. The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable and clean. There is plenty to do from Jetboarding, walks with views, hot tub, sauna and much more. We are already planning to come back with family. Thank you so much Mario. It’s been a pleasure.

We felt like in paradise. The Nästa lake is directly on the property with its own jetty. The location was sensational. A trip to the Storre Mosse Park is also highly recommended. We loved the balcony overlooking the lake. Good shopping facilities were 15 km away.

This was one our our favorite places we’ve stayed! The atmosphere of the boat house was so cozy and had everything we needed and more. The surroundings were just beautiful - such a treat to spend time on the water. Our little one loved playing on the little beach and going out in the kayak. The location was perfect, very peaceful and also not too far from a day trip to the city. Christina is an excellent host, I would highly recommend her place!

We felt very comfortable in Fabian's accommodation and we lacked nothing. The house is as described and offers a good starting point for excursions around the Vättern and Vänern. Anglers in particular will get their money's worth in Tidaholm. Fabian and his family always had great tips, were helpful and quickly accessible. Anglers' dreams were also fulfilled! We will be happy to come back.

This Airbnb is just everything you need for your stay in Sweden! A classic red wooden hut surrounded with forest. The host is also every Nice and helped us with tips about the different things we could do in the area.

Highly recommended, a beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of nature, perfect to relax!

We had a wonderful time at the place! The view of the lake is really fantastic. We also used the sauna and - if we had stayed longer - would certainly have taken a canoe trip. The location is wonderful: on the one hand, you are in the middle of nature and can enjoy the tranquility, but at the same time, you can also quickly reach various excursion destinations in the area, especially in and around Gothenburg. August was very friendly and accommodating. He provided us with a baby bed for our son at short notice. We would have liked to stay a little longer!

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!
