The View to Drangarnar, Tindholm end Mykines

This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. New cozy little apartment in the attic of a boathouse. It's right by the water, sandy beach and a small marina. Wonderful views of the sea, the countryside and the high mountains. Hósvík is centrally located in the Faroe Islands and is the perfect base for exploring the islands, or just relax in peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The apartment is perfect for individuals/couples, with or without children, who do not need much indoor space. There are narrow stairs in the apartment, i.e. unsuitable for people who are not fully mobile.

Enjoy a stay steeped in history in a renovated 100-year-old Faroese warehouse on the water’s edge in the local habour. Fully renovated in 2019, Løðupakkhúsið features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and wooden flooring. This newly renovated house was originally built in the 1940s and offers a stunning view of the village of Sørvágur and a terrace overlooking Tindhólmur and Mykines. It has three bedrooms, one small bathroom, and a combined kitchen and living room. It is located in a private and quiet area yet close to scenic areas such as Gásadalur, Bøur, Bøsdalafossur and Fjallavatn. Supermarket and public transportation are within walking distance. 2 km from the airport 1 km from the ferry to Mykines.

Cosy Múlafossur Cottage by waterfall in Gásadalur

Tjaldur Cottage is one of the 'Múlafossur Cottages' located by the world-renown waterfall in the village Gásadalur on the Faroe Islands. It is a truly magical and secluded place with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows -all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall. As a bonus the cottage is only a 10-20min drive from the only Faroese airport, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn.

It is located just 2 min drive from the airport, and a few minutes drive to Gásadalur, Múlafoss, Sørvágsvatn, Trælanýpa, and the ferry to Mykines, and boattrips are just a few minutes away. There are good parking conditions.

This special home is very well insulated and warm, and it is equipped with underfloor heating, which is very comfortable and warm in cold temperatures. It is close to the sea and at the end of a cul-de-sac. The home is a total of 20 m2, and is a room with kitchen and beds plus a modern bathroom with shower with plenty of hot water. There's an oven and stove, a hood. Refrigerator with built-in freezer and all other common kitchen equipment.

The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.

Lejligheden er renoveret og bliver opvarmet med Grøn Energi (luft til vand) og har en meget god udsigt, med mulighed at bruge en stor terasse, der man har udsigt til fire øer, lejligheden ligger centralt imellem lufthavnen ogThorshavn, har god gåafstand til Trælanýpa og Trøllkonufingur. Gásadalur/Múlafossur ligger på øen og ruteforbindelse til Mýkines. Der er gode muligheder for parkering.

Guest loft in Søvágur near airport

Our Guest loft with private entrance is located in the city center of Sørvágur and is the perfect base for exploring all the fantastic attractions that Vágar has to offer. You are only a 10 minute walk away from the ferry to Mykines, and about a 10 minute drive to Gásadalur. The airport is a 5 minute drive away and the local grocerystore is your neighbor.

Jon's Apartment

Small Studio-apartment located in Miðvágur. The apartment is located in a quiet enviroment, around 300 meter walk to grocery-store, resturant and a gas-station. It takes around 45 minutes to hike to Trælanípa and Bøsdalafossur from the apartment. And around 15 minutes drive to Gásadalur and the ferry to Mykines and 10 minutes drive to the airport.
