There are lovely views of the strait, the guest harbor and the quay, in addition to the Vegafjellene in the west and Dønnamannen to the north.

Sport fishing, kayak, bike rides, swimming, photo, walks and lots more. Free ferry from Søvik ferry rental (16 km from Sandnessjøen) to the island of Austbø. The cabin is perfect for families with children or families who want to get away from the big city. The cabin is located right by the sea and has sun from morning to evening in the summer. Nice outdoor areas.

The cottage was completed in August 2021 and is state of the art furnished with everything you need. The views towards the world heritage Vega and the sunsets in the sea are unbeatable. The cottage is situated alone with no insight from neighbours and is a great starting point whether you just want to enjoy the silence, go for a walk on one of the many hiking trails at Leka, rent the host's boat or kayak or go for a ride to watch the famous Ørnerovet. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Amazing sunsets. In summer the sun doesn't set until midnight. Adult couples who like to enjoy rural and quiet atmosphere. 3 km to shop and restaurant HerøyBrygge. 1,5 km to unique Etcetera (magical flower shop that must be experienced). Café Skolo on Seløy is also very popular. Otherwise, Herøy invites cycling since it is relatively flat. Kritthvite beaches. especially at Tenna in the south of Herøy, at Herøy caravan.

It is about 11 km to the town of Brønnøysund, it is 500 meters to the ferry rental that goes to Vega and Forvik/Tjøtta
