Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Venango County

This was one of my favorite BnB’s by far. The location was beautiful, extremely private and quiet, and a very cozy space. The hosts were very friendly and communicative, and it was all-around a wonderful experience. I will definitely be booking this again.

My friends and I stayed three nights at Nellie and Thomas's place to ride the local Rails to Trails. Their house was exactly as described and we enjoyed the view of the Allegheny River. Franklin is a nice little town and we enjoyed hitting some of the local restaurants. If we're back in Franklin in the future, I would not hesitate to stay at Nellie and Thomas's house

My family had a wonderful weekend at Nellie and Thomas' place. The view of the Allegheny River is absolutely gorgeous! The layout of the upper and lower units was perfect for our group, providing plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. We hope to return soon when the weather is warmer!

The back porch was like a nature preserve, we saw cranes, river otters, turtles and "yuck" snakes. They only thing we didn't like was TV and steep steps

Great weekend biking with the family. Accessible to Allegheny River Trail where we biked through three tunnels. Fun experience. Having a comfortable place to return to made for a wonderful Father’s Day weekend.

This was a very lovely place; cozy interior, lovely view from the back, plenty of seating. Everything was clean and neat when I checked in. While there is a busy road across the river, for me this didn't detract from the beauty of the nature I saw. For some this might be personal preference - you do get vehicle sounds from the road. I had a couple of personal preference feedback items for Nellie and Thomas (there was a ticking clock and ticking clocks just happens to be an annoyance of mine, I prefer a much softer bed), and they were very receptive to my feedback. Overall, for a quick vacation sitting by the river enjoying nature, it was a great spot.

This is a great place to stay. Pictures really don’t do it justice. The pool is amazing and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a weekend away.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. We traveled from Virginia for a family reunion and Maria was a wonderful host. the house is huge with 2 living room spaces! The outside view was beautiful! So much to do here from swimming and fishing to cooking on the grill and ending the day with a sweet treat making smores over the fire. most importantly, my son became ill while staying and we needed to book another night and Maria made it very easy to allow us one more night for my son to feel better. We will definitely be booking again!

Beautiful property. The photos honestly don’t do it justice. The pond is huge and the frog sounds are so fun. Loved the little touches like swings for the kids and fishing poles. Our party included four kids (10, 8, 6, 4) and 6 adults and we fit perfectly in both houses. The houses are charming, rustic and homey. Maria was so helpful and responsive. She made sure to give us clear instructions since we were arriving after dark and the area is rural. We were able to find the property easily thanks to her. Would definitely stay here again.

The Carriage House is one of the most peaceful places that we've ever stayed. The Rustic character and decor felt welcoming and comfy. The view of the pond in the morning while listening to the birds and drinking a cup of coffee - unbelievably Zen. We enjoyed soaking in the jacuzzi and having a good steam in the Sauna. The quietness was particularly stunning as well. We really felt like we had our own personal Spa for 5 days. I'm from the Knox area and will be staying here from now on whenever we're home for a visit. Our black lab Bella also enjoyed chasing the ball in the big field and going for a swim in the pond as well. Perfect place for a dog! This historic house in Franklin was perfect for our family of six while we were in town for a wedding at Forever Farm (beautiful location). Jonie and Ryan were prompt while exchanging messages. The house was clean and stocked with many amenities, making our stay comfortable. The kitchen had all the essentials (most important, coffee!). We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood during our stay. We also visited the Oil City Library and Grove Hill Cemetery. We ate dinner at Country Grub and breakfast at Baked Goods From Heaven and Woods & River Coffee. Thanks again for hosting us; we truly had a wonderful time!

My group of guests and I had a wonderful stay! The view was outstanding (seeing it in person was even more beautiful than the photos!) The cabin had plenty of rooms, living spaces, and outdoor deck areas to gather. Tammy (host) was a very accommodating host and responded very quickly to any messages leading up to our reservation and throughout our stay. My guests and I are definitely recommending others to stay at this cabin for a relaxing getaway! I would love to revisit again the future! Thanks for the great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Heathers Airbnb! Had a few questions at check in, but received quick information from the host. The suite inside looks just like the photos and a beautiful view off the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and shower was large and had great hot water. We hope to stay here again.

Madison and her team were beyond kind and welcoming. They respond fast if you need anything or just have a simple question. What you see on the listing is what you get, which is all anyone can ask for, but the pictures do not do it justice at all. Their property and cabin are beautiful. This is our third consecutive year, and we can't wait to plan the fourth. Madison and her team always come up in conversation when we're at their cabin, as they are amazing. It makes the entire trip stress-free, and it's peace of mind knowing that if we need anything, they'll get back to us fast. With that being said, please don't treat this place like a cheap motel; leave it cleaner than when you found it. It's a beautiful property, and it needs to stay that way.

Great home to spend the weekend in with friends and our families! So much land to explore and play baseball and kickball. We loved making mountain pies and s’mores in the fire pit and having nice clean beds for all of us! Joseph was very responsive to our needs and we all had a great time!
