Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Fra huset og hagen kan du oppleve de majestetiske fjelltoppene i Esefjorden og den fantastiske fjordutsikten. Boligen ligger sentralt i kunstbygden Balestrand og er i gåavstand til alt av severdigheter og opplevelser. Med en skjermet beliggenhet og stor hage er dette et perfekt sted for familier og/eller små grupper. Her kan du bade, fiske, nyte frukt fra hagen eller bare slappe av.

Summer: the cabin is 1 min from the lake just walking distance at the back of the main house. We have sitting area by the lake and sitting area by the small river (this is nearest to the cabin). Feel free to choose. Winter: The cottage is a 20 mins drive to Rauland Ski Center. You can also ski on the frozen lake. Cross country is also a possibility near the area. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Has access to lake. Great way to spend your summer.

The house is located in a small fruit farm in Sørfjorden, Hardanger, not far fromTrolltunga and Mikkelparken ( one hour by car) It is a charming house where you can feel at home with a modern kitchen and bathroom (2015) wich is blended beautiful in with the historical furnitures and old wooden walls. The house has to bedrooms and a small sleeping-hall. It is suitable for 6 persons, a family or two couples. If you like fishing we also have a boathouse next to the fjord.

Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and a local cafe/shop/museum is 10 min away. Free WiFi. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop. Farm animals.

Like utenfor døren finner man populære tur og sykkelstier. 6 min kjøring til Sogndal sentrum, 4 min unna ligger Kaupanger sentrum med dagligvare og ViteMeir senteret, kjekt for store og små! 2 min unna finner man baseng, lekeland og treningssenter.
