What a nice location to relax and unwind. If you want to do something, you definitely need a car. The reception was great, there was our own baked cake ready for us. If we are in the area, we will definitely come back here. Thank you for everything.

The accommodation is exactly as described in the photographs. Fernando was very friendly. Road access is a bit tricky, but if you're looking for tranquility and a very nice natural setting, this is the place for you. Recommended for groups of friends looking to relax and enjoy each other's company

We had the most wonderful stay at Carla’s! The home was beautiful, clean and well equipped but most importantly Carla and her family were all so incredibly warm and welcoming. We felt right at home, our two year old son had the most amazing time with the beautiful gardens and the toys Carla kindly provided during our stay. The photos don’t do this home justice, it’s stunning plus the ocean and sunset views can’t be beaten. Carla has recently added a swimming pool which was gorgeous too and very clean. We wish we’re still there!

Arriving on site, we were amazed by the beauty and grandeur of the place. A beautiful pool in the middle of a beautiful, pleasant and relaxing park. We had 2 great weeks! La Quinta is 1 hour from Porto and close to Braga, Ponte de Lima, Guimarães and Viana do Castelo. Suffice to say that the Quinta is very well located for visiting Northern Portugal. The amenities offered at the listing are as described. Sheets and towels are present. João is a great host, adorable and attentive to his guests. You can rent the Quinta without a second thought, you won't be disappointed! I highly recommend it!!

The location of the studio is fabulous, quiet, in the middle of the forest, a magnificent view of the mountain not overlooked and with the pool that is shared with another home. There is an outdoor terrace with a wooden garden table and a barbecue. The accommodation is close to the waterfalls where we enjoyed the freshness of swimming and the idyllic setting of the mountain of the Gerès National Park. You have to plan to do some shopping before arriving because the shops are a little far away. There are small grocery stores and restaurants 15/20 min from the accommodation in Gerès. (Please note that the fridge is very small with a small freezer ) The only downside , but still important to know, is that the bed is not at all comfortable, we smell the springs of the mattress, it's a shame because otherwise we had a refreshing stay in nature. No window in bathroom. There is no air conditioning, which would have been welcome , as we had hot weather.

This is the only place we have ever returned to as we love it so much. We felt so comfortable as the whole family are so welcoming and friendly with us - almost like being at home. The location is just amazing - first full of history being in their family for so many generations. Entry through 1 gate takes you right into the main square - but behind lies a tranquil garden with swimming pool & lovely features which make you believe you are in the country side. Secure & private with ample parking. Caminha itself is such a beautiful town to stay & this house is simply the best of the locations possible. This time we stayed in the tower - which offers a stunning 360 degree view from the top. Restored to a high standard with loving care. Wifi works perfectly - everything for our stay also perfect. We look forward to return again. Thank you to our amazing hosts.

This is a great house, with a very nice pool. Lots of privacy, and quiet surroundings as it is located in a tiny village. Buy your groceries before going there, as it is nearly half an hour drive to a decent supermarket. We stayed there with our family of 4, which was perfect. There were 2 good-sized bedrooms, with a twinbed each. One sleepingsofa is in the living room, and the other in an open space next to the open staircase. These are okay for one person to sleep in but they are, in my opinion, way too small -and short (we are from Holland;)- for two people. You can park the car next to the house, after driving up a steep and small cobblestone road. You have beautiful views over the valleys and we’ve seen some great sunsets. We recommend this place!

Short stay, but absolutely wonderful! Although we only stayed for a short time, the experience was simply spectacular. The house, set in a stunning natural setting, offers a peaceful and tranquil environment perfect for a getaway for two or as a family. Everything was impeccably clean, welcoming, and prepared with attention to detail. We immediately feel at home, enveloped by the serenity of the space and the surrounding beauty of nature. It was a short stay, but it left a positive impression on us. We left wanting to return with more time. Everything was spot on. The place exactly matches the pictures. The apartment has a good area , which is an incredible differential. The only observation is about the vault: the key is positioned in a very high place. If you're no more than 6 feet tall, you may struggle to reach it.

We had a great vacation in this apartment. The place is exactly as described on the Airbnb site, clean, spacious and comfortable and very well equipped. The decor is very neat and modern, which really added to the cozy vibe. The views of the sea and Santa Luzia from the balconies are very beautiful, especially at sunset. In addition, the location is perfect, quiet and close to Viana do castelo. Thank you again to our host for his kindness , availability and attention when we arrived. We will not hesitate to return on our next trip .
