Our family found the house very clean, comfortable, and restful. Inside and outside (yard) of the house were so inspiring and refreshed our soul. We all enjoyed the stay, and would love to come back next year! We wished that we had plenty of time to enjoy some good choice of movies. The hosts were very willing to help out whenever we had some questions, and made us feel at home.

Nestled in the tranquil enclave of Tamborine, this expansive and private residence boasts a stunning pool with panoramic vistas stretching to the Gold Coast hinterland. This wonderful place offers an idyllic retreat from the relentless pace of modern life, providing the perfect sanctuary to disconnect, rejuvenate, and immerse oneself in nature. We were particularly taken by the inviting ambience of the home, which encourages leisurely moments spent within the generous grounds, savoring the breathtaking scenery and serene natural surrounds. Also the balcony affords a spectacular sunrise further enhancing the sense of wonder and tranquility that defines this remarkable getaway. Probably the best place to stay on Mt Tamborine!

If we could give this Airbnb 6 stars, we would. Nestled in a very peaceful part of Brisbane and right near Lone Pine, Barry and Lynn provide one of the nicest stays you could hope for. As hosts, they are both very friendly and helpful and ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We found it to be very well stocked with anything you could possibly need, even more than our own home! I'd you're planning to be in or near this area, we cannot recommend Barry & Lynn's place any more.

Excellent home away from home, was perfect for a combined family holiday, plenty of backyard space and living areas to keep kids and adults happy. Loved the thoughtful touches Lisa added to make this a wonderful stay.

Really enjoyed the house. Stayed for work and would have loved to stay longer and in summer to be able to use the pool. Felt like I was at home. House is huge and great for a family to stay in. Looked exactly like the photos.

Lil’s apartment was leafy, tranquil and sumptuous. Her linen was second to none and the place was sprinkled with complimentary homemade condiments. A nice walk to shops, markets and restaurants so our every need was easily accessed.

We had a splendid stay at this lovely cottage nestled at the bottom of Mount Tamborine. The setting was incredibly tranquil, even with the rain, the peaceful atmosphere only added to the charm and relaxation of our stay. The cottage itself was beautiful, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed with great amenities that made us feel right at home. Andrea was a fantastic host, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommended for a serene getaway!

Rick and Glennys are amazing hosts! They were always helpful and made sure we had everything that we needed. The house is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by trees and parks and beautiful birds. What a beautiful house. The views are totally stunning, the garden is such a nice area to chill, the fire pit at nighttime is an amazing added extra. The house itself had everything we needed, very equipped kicthen, bedrooms where lovely and beds were comfortable. Great location, 6 min drive to Straddie brewery and shops. We would love to stay here again and would recommend. Communication was also spot on, no problems at all. Thankyou for trusting us with your house

I booked Lauren's place to stay for my family, Lauren was extremely responsive, allowed a last minute early check in (thankyou so much), the home was beautiful, clean and tidy and was close by to the event we were attending.

We had a wonderful stay at this cosy mountain retreat in Tamborine! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully curated – from the charming decor to the well-equipped amenities, everything was designed with comfort and care in mind. The peaceful surroundings and warm, inviting atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time together. Our family created some truly special memories here, and we’re so grateful for the experience!

Jonathan’s place was clean, comfortable and very functional. Relaxing front veranda with palm trees waving in the gentle breeze, and only a short walk to the beach. A lovely place to stay.

We used Richard’s house for the beginning of my son & daughter in law’s honeymoon. The house was very nice and Richard went even further to contribute to the special occasion. It’s a lovely house in a beautiful location and we highly recommend it. Thanks Richard for being such a great host.

Perfect place for a big friendship catch up. Atmosphere feels like camping but without the hassle. Nice and close to Sirromet Winery.

We stayed here while relocating interstate! We really appreciated being able to bring our pets and having a two room, fully equipped self contained stay. Very clean, very quiet, very easy street parking. Check in is super easy and very well lit. I’d recommend for anyone looking for a nice stay in the Runcorn area. Lots of good food around

An absolutely beautiful home nestled in nature. Very cosy and comfortable. Well equipped for any length of stay. Pristinely clean environment, feels like home. Fantastic price for the experience. The perfect getaway for a milestone celebration. Thx heaps Kim, we will be back.

Darren's place was exactly as described and exactly what we were looking for. we spent the majority of the trip camped in front of the fire, which Darren provided endless firewood for. Our dog loved the big yard which though wouldn't be fenced well enough for an escapey or small dog was perfectly fine for our big goof. the cabin was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. literally the only thing that would have improved it is a little table next to the arm chairs to put your tea on while sitting in front of the fire. Had a great time, would stay again

Beautiful home with beautiful gardens. The views were amazing and there was so much bird life. Very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. The house was nice and clean and we received a welcome package on arrival with wine, chocolate and snacks. The house felt secure too. Simone was lovely and very responsive. We loved our time there and would highly recommend!

Ainsley provided lovely modern, comfortable, clean and neat accommodation for our whole family, that actually felt like a home. Mood music upon entry was such an inviting touch. Everything we needed was provided, and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. If we are back Margate way we will definitely stay again. thanks Ainsley.
