Holiday rentals with lake access in Viken

We had a great, quiet and relaxed time. Everything was easy to find, as described and we felt very comfortable. Eirik responded super fast to messages. We'd love to come back. 1000 takk!

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

Had a very short stay in this beautiful house. Very clean and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer but hopefully will be back soon to visit Norway and this spectacular area. Thank you for hosting us.

We had a wonderful time at Therese's house. The house is situated in beautiful scenery directly on the fjord. It was great to watch the kite skaters on the frozen fjord on sunny winter days. Therese took great care of us and was super helpful. Please note that there are very steep stairs in the house. For some people, this could be an obstacle. Everything worked out well for us and we felt very comfortable. In the evening we got delicious food from the nearby Thai restaurant. The bus (stop right by the house) and train connections (from Røyken) to Oslo are very good. I would especially like to thank Therese, who was always ready to help us and helped us a lot. I highly recommend staying in this lovingly designed, small red house. It's something very special!

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and idyllic little house in the countryside. Quiet and peaceful location with access to a dining area in the garden. Short distance to both Sommarland and Gygrestolen. Friendly host and flexible check-in. We cooked a little, but found what we needed in kitchen equipment. Super holiday with the kids.

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

The house and surroundings were even more lovely than we’d imagined. The house had so many beautiful touches, Ken and Emilie have taken such care to make it a home from home. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was so comfortable, I can’t remember sleeping so well for years! The lake felt like it was just for us, so nice to swim, canoe and row around. We even had a young moose come in to the lake one day! Plus many other moose sightings nearby - and a sweet resident hare. The area was beautiful for walking, the hamlet of Nasbo was a particularly pretty place to walk to. Tresticklan national park was less than an hour’s drive away for fantastic hiking. We had an excellent stay at this location and would highly recommend. Senthil responds quickly if you have questions or issues. The location is fantastic, close to public transportation, grocery markets and walkable to many attractions. Our family made good use of the common area and large balcony. A great experience overall!

Great apartment, great location, child-friendly. Cozy garden. The stairs may be a little steep if you have children or something, but it was fine for us!

Very nicely located apartment/ house. With a beautiful view of the wooded mountains. Large, cozy and equipped with everything. Camilla is a very friendly and helpful woman. The metro that runs to the center of Oslo is a 5-minute walk away.

The place was as described. Very lovingly and cozily furnished and the view is very nice. If you arrive by car, the accommodation is good. Communication before and during the stay was also friendly and fast. Highly recommended !

Excellent host, excellent apartment. FYI: for those who have issues falling asleep at night, one apartment has the window facing a street where the trolley passes from time to time.

This place is stunning. Super easy to find, extremely clean and the host’s communications were very prompt and clear. Superb.

Very private location on their property. Fantastic house for a large family…big decks, lots of living space and bedrooms. It was a shame we were only a couple, but we still enjoyed the experience.

We stayed for 3 nights in the small house on the island and we had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay. The house is really well furnished, clean and offers a magnificent view of the lake. We were the only guests during this time and therefore had the island to ourselves. Anders has already instructed us superbly in advance and always answered questions very quickly. We had a rowing boat for the crossing. Although my partner rowed very well, the crossing after a trip to the campsite was very challenging due to strong winds. We therefore recommend renting the motor from Anders. He also offers this. We would have loved to stay longer, but we had to move on. We wish all guests the same relaxation that we were able to enjoy in Anders Haus and are happy to recommend the house and the Superhost! Fränzi & David from Switzerland

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Thank you for a wonderful stay in amazing surroundings. We made stops at the cabin on our way skiing. Super beautiful in the cabin and with winter wonderland and ice on the lake. But we also really wanted to experience it in the summer 😊

We were on our way home from Norway for one night in Robert's beautiful holiday home. It was very quiet and the house was cozily furnished. The view of the water is really nice! There is really nothing missing in the house and there are also shopping facilities nearby. (Nordby Shopping Center) Robert is a very nice landlord and easy to reach. We will definitely come back and spend a few more days in this beautiful place. :)

We would definitely recommend the place, which stands out especially well in the outdoor surroundings, where the home is surrounded by forest and lake. Outdoors, there's plenty of activities to enjoy. On the indoor amenities, as a guest, you should expect a relatively simple and somewhat old-fashioned space.
