Villa holiday rentals in Vila do Bispo

We had an amazing stay at Gary and Mel’s lovely villa. Everything was beautifully clean and the towels and linen were very nice. The house had everything we needed and more, 2 BBQs on the balcony, cool box and parasol for beach trips, buckets and spades and some floaties for the pool were a really nice addition. Kitchen was really well equipped with lots of crockery and glassware, plus a large dishwasher. The supermarket is walkable and had an amazing selection of everything we needed. Lovely local eateries and stunning beaches 10 minutes drive away. The pool was fantastic, plenty of shallow end for children and a deep end of 1.5m which was deep enough to dive into but still shallow enough for the adults to stand up. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after a long day coasteering, or at the brilliant slide and splash water park. Thanks so much, would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time at Paul’s villa. The house had everything we needed and the kids loved the heated pool! The location had something for everyone - beaches, golf, tennis etc. and we loved it exploring the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come again, thank you. 😊

This place was spot on for our needs. Two families (one of four and one of five) plus a set of grandparents. Plenty of space for us all. Comfortable sleeping arrangements and probably room for one extra kid if needed. Kitchen was on the small side of expectations but did everything we needed. Pool was PERFECT (size and temp- we opted to have heating). The golf resort seemed almost empty as we rarely saw or heard other people. Ample parking for 3 cars and still with room for each of us to exit easily. Outside space was also perfect- some shade, at the pool level and on balcony, plenty of sunloungers and cabana bed too. We loved the surrounding villages and beaches and the location was fab because most places are within 15 mins drive. We all said we would love to come back again. It just all worked so well. Russ was outstanding with contact - so friendly and happy to answer questions.

The house was perfect and in a great location with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Veronique was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely visit again.

Wow. Casa Clara is stunning. Incredibly well equipped and Kim is an amazing host. Beautiful rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a meal with panoramic views of the golf course. The pool is a real asset and is perfectly maintained. I will be returning next year.

This property is situated on top of the hill overlooking Salema - a beautiful setting. It's a short (but steep!) walk into the town center where you can enjoy all of the amenities of Salema - an amazing beach and fantastic bars and restaurants. You can also catch the sunset each night from the back patio of the house. We really enjoyed our stay here. Also worth noting, the property is a 60-second walk from Musette bike rental. The service there was great and the bikes offered the opportunity to explore along the coast of the Algarve. Perfect spot for those looking for a bike adventure.

The house was great, very comfortable, plenty of room for our group and excellent location. Walking distance to Mareta beach and multiple restaurants and shops, beautiful large court yard with plenty of space, each bedroom has its own bathroom, sizable living room/dinning area. Host was very responsive with any question that came up during our stay. Sagres was great and staying here made our trip perfect. Will surely stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at Peter's house. The location in Salema is wonderful, offering beautiful sea views from multiple terraces. The private garden is spacious and the layout with the kitchen next to the barbecue is great for preparing your dinners. Peter was also very quick to respond to all our enquiries, we felt well taken care off. Can highly recommend and we'd definitely come to stay again!

Das Haus war wunderbar für uns 3 Familien. Ein großes Plus ist, dass jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad hat! Ausreichend Platz! Der Pool war spitze und der Griller jeden Tag im Einsatz!

Highly Recommend We honestly couldn't have asked for more for a family holiday, a superb private 5 bedroom luxury villa, immaculately refurbished and maintained with some high quality interior furniture, fixtures and fittings. The large heated pool and gardens are glorious with plenty of sun loungers and garden furniture. If you play golf and enjoy a challenge then this is the golf course for you, we played a couple of rounds (with mixed results) and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting and well maintained course. Salema which is the nearest coastal village (approx 8Km) has a lovely beach and a number of excellent restaurants and bars, we sampled a few of them including our favourite, Restaurante O Lourenco Many thanks Barbara, its a 10 out of 10 for us, we hope to return some time in the not too distant future.

Fantastische locatie. De mooiste villa van de kust. Werkelijk voortreffelijk. Droomplek. Paradijs bij de oceaan. Dorpje met strand op 5 minuten. Erg fijn zwembad, prachtige bbq. Zeer communicatieve host. Ontvangst met wijn en lekkernijen. Langs de Fisherman Trail voor de wandelaars. Heerlijke weer was een bonus. Werkelijke magnifiek.

We had a great family get-together at the villa. It was spacious, clean, and we felt at home. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and swimming, exploring the beaches, and nearby towns. It was easy to get to shops and buy the food. We had a couple of BBQs, pizza in Figueira, and ate in Lagos. We enjoyed playing games together in the evenings. We played our own games but there are some available especially for children. Eleanor is a great host, kind and understanding and responds quickly. She makes you feel welcome. Thank you for our time at the villa, Eleanor, and we would visit again. Highly recommend.

Fomos recebidos pela Sofia, já estava lá quando chegamos. Nos mostrou a casa e se pôs disponível caso precisássemos. A casa é bem confortável e nos sentimos em casa. Preparamos todas as refeições na cozinha, que é bem equipada. Os quartos são ótimos e as camas são bem confortáveis. Nós nos sentimos em casa. A vila é encantadora e a paisagem é maravilhosa. Recomendo que visitem Sagres, pois é perto e muito encantador. Tivemos um fim de semana perfeito . Recomendo muito!

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in Ians Haus. Es war alles da was man braucht. Ian war immer erreichbar, wenn es Rückfragen gab. Die Lage des Hauses ist wunderbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mooie locatie, heerlijke tuin, fijn huis. Enige minpuntje dat er geen tennisrackets aanwezig waren op locatie dus neem die vooral mee als je gaat!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Carole. Das absolute Highlight ist der wunderschöne Pool, den wir ausgiebig benutzt haben.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Das Haus war super – sauber, gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Besonders gefallen haben uns der schöne Pool und die tolle BBQ-Area, perfekt für entspannte Abende. Die Lage ist ideal: Nah am Strand, aber auch mit einem Hauch von Dorfleben – genau die richtige Mischung. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden das Haus definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Ein wunderbares Domizil in absolut genialer Lage, sehr ruhig und exklusiv. Sehr großzügiges Haus, große und sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, sehr großer Pool, alles toll.
