Handy to Brisbane Airport

Our house is a modern two storey house 9km from Brisbane CBD. We are a 10 minute drive from Brisbane airport and close to the airport tunnel and public transport. My husband and I live upstairs and will be on site during your stay. Downstairs we have a self contained, fully furnished two bedroom apartment available for rental. There is a large modern bathroom. The larger bedroom has a queen sized bed and the smaller bedroom has a double bed. It has a refrigerator,large, flat -screen TV, washing machine and dryer to use. We have an inground lap pool for your use also. Street parking is safe and plentiful. I work as a teacher through the day, but can arrange to be at home to greet guests from 4pm. There are several restaurant options a short drive or walk from our place - many restaurants deliver take away food also. A bus to the city stops directly outside out house and Nundah train station is less than 3km away. Brisbane's greatest appeal is its incredible sub-tropical climate. There is plenty to do and see on a short visit to the city - en route to other places in Australia - or as a destination on its own. Looking forward to hearing from you..........

The property is located in a fairly quiet and family orientated street. The unit is on the same property as the main house and is a generous size approx 70sqM. The house and unit are separated by a breezeway. The unit is your own private space and has a small kitchenette and various appliances. You'll have access to the pool (un-heated) and BBQ area as well. I ask that you please limit guest numbers (if at all). My interaction will be fairly minimal.

Don’t think twice. Coral is nothing but a wonderful human being and host. I had the pleasure of meeting her and staying in her lovely home for 4 nights and wished I could have stayed for longer. Upon arrival, I was welcomed and taken care of throughout. Local recommendations are provided and laughter is abundant as Coral takes you on a journey with her sublime storytelling skills. The home is well kept and tidy, vibrant with colourful decor and a lush garden. Also, it is conveniently located to the second largest regional shopping centre in Australia, Westfield Chermside — only a 5-min drive or 18-min walk away. Highly, highly recommended to all. Darren replied to all my messages within 30 mins every time & communicated clearly. He was happy for us to use his microwave and utensils etc. for our dinner. The house is beautiful and the simple accommodation was spotless, with a large bathroom with 2 sinks and a separate toilet. It is on the top floor with a loungeroom to use but no tv. His bedroom and study are on the same floor but this was not a problem as far as privacy. Darren was very friendly and was gracious enough to happily take us to the airport at 4.30a.m. It's obviously noisy at times at night being beside an airport that has no curfew, so take ear plugs. Once I was asleep, no other planes disturbed me. A great place to stay for early departures or late arrivals. Thanks Darren!

Lovely place to stay! Floyd responded very quickly and kindly let me check in early. Very well equipped room and en-suite bathroom with everything you could need. All as described. Area was nice and quiet with easy access to bus stops, Floyd also gave excellent transport recommendations which was super helpful. Would definitely stay again!
