Absolutely gorgeous place! Off the beaten path and so cozy and just truly lovely. We made dinner in the kitchen and it had normal kitchen utensils and cookware available. Such a cool stay!

Because of a snow storm, we had to leave the previous place in Akureyri a day sooner to get to Egilsstadir. Kristjana was extremely helpful and arranged for us so that we could check in the previous day and did not have to search for another place to stay. Thank you, Kristjana, we really appreciate it!

Great location for exploring the northeast region. Popular spots aren't too far away, the views are amazing, and the home is very cozy. My gf and I really enjoyed our stay.

Wir waren für eine Nacht da, es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und zum Kochen ist alles nötige vorhanden. Es ist sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick und eine ruhige Lage. Eine klare Anweisung für die Unterkunft sowie Check-In wäre für die Zukunft wünschenswert. Den Abend kann man mit einem Film ausklingen lassen - Prime, etc. möglich. Wir können es nur sehr empfehlen! Vielen Dank :)

Great place. Very spacious and lovingly furnished and decorated. Don’t be scared by the gravel path leading to the property. Once you get there, you will be rewarded with very serene surroundings outside, and a beautiful house inside.

Amazing cabin surrounded by horses and sheep! Everything was clean and tidy, thoughtful items (like robes to get to the hot tub), and the place overall felt like home. Thank you for having us!
