Donna was a superb host. We quickly learned to trust her restaurant recommendations, and in addition to her apartment being scrupulously clean and cozy, she provided extras like coffee and a fridge filled with sparkling mandarin orange water, so we felt genuinely welcome and cared for. We would rent from Donna again in a heartbeat.

Lianna was very responsive and the accommodations were perfect for our group of 8. The house had everything we needed with easy parking and our guests from Finland loved the hot tub and sauna.

absolutely loved this stay, we needed a few days away from our fast paced life to relax with the family and thas exactly what we got. beautiful home, comfortable bedding, breath taking scenery , hot tub was a plus. we loved it. our kids loved it even more. Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! This is a magical place. We spent as much time as we could on the screened in patio because of the view, wildlife and relaxation without bugs. The living space was beautiful and functional, so well stocked of essentials and more. It felt like we were visiting friends who were happy that we were there. Great communication, very welcoming. We found the location to be a nice balance of wilderness and close enough to towns for needs. It was a great spot for us as we toured through all the towns outside of Ottawa. This area of the world is beautiful. And there are no better hosts than Julie and Tony.

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

I had a fantastic stay at Scott's Airbnb! He was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we had an issue with the pool lights in the evening, Scott promptly came over to assist, which we greatly appreciated. His communication and dedication made our experience truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying with Scott and would definitely book again!

Angela's place is great for a group getaway, she was helpful and easy to communicate with.

Our family complely enjoyed Erin's generously sized house. The indoor pool was one of the amenities that really drew us, and it didnt disappoint! Beautiful, warm, clean and the entire pool area was welcoming and comfortable. Besides that there are so many other activites; these are shown accurately in the photos. The adults enjoyed the pool table area very much in the evenings. Though we never got to using the home theatre, it was a very unique and appealing space. In general all was in good repair in this home. We loved the comfy beds and pristine linen. The kitchen was well thought out and very organized, with plenty of pots, dishes, glasses soap etc. This was a great locating to bring the family together. We would love to return again!

An Absolutely Amazing Stay with Superb Hosts! Our recent stay at this Lake Front Chalet, was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we booked, the hosts were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and proactive, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Reading the reviews beforehand definitely helped us envision and prepare for the property. The layout of the home was absolutely great, offering a wonderful flow throughout. All the rooms are very large, providing ample space and comfort for everyone. The amenities provided were fantastic, adding so much to our enjoyment. We especially loved the huge open-concept design with the large windows, which created such an inviting and bright atmosphere. We had a truly wonderful time and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a superb getaway. Thank you to our hosts for such an amazing experience!

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The host demonstrated exceptional hospitality and promptly addressed all our inquiries. The cottage had many amenities aside from the lovely view and water activities. The kitchen was also well-equipped, which made it very convenient for my friends who love to cook. The cottage was charming, and we will certainly consider booking it again in the future.

This place was everything we wanted and more. Beautiful scenery, cozy place, private and quiet. The host was very easy to reach and very helpful. We had a small little problem upon our arrival about a breaker fuse being tripped. She promptly replied and help us resolve the issue and was quick to offer additional assistance if we need be. Our kids enjoyed the play structure, pedalboat and swimming in the private lake. I would highly recommend this place.

My family had the pleasure of staying here for the first week in June 2025. We had a fabulous week enjoying this fabulous cottage and its surroundings. The inside offered us all the comfort and things we needed, including an awesome hot tub "tub" complete with rolled towels, clothes pegs and plastic glasses! Everything was exceptionally clean and there were lots of great books and games to keep us entertained as we lazed around the beautiful property. The kayaks and paddle boards were so much fun as we explored both directions on the river. Honestly the property was SO nice we hardly wanted to leave it but we did manage to get out a few days to visit Ottawa and the cute towns of Perth & Almonte. Two fabulous restaurants we visited and recommend is Joe's Italian Kitchen (In Almonte) and Michael's Table in Perth. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog Russ who had the BEST time all week enjoying the water, boats and watching the wild life from his little fur rug in sunny bay window.

Wow. The views of the lake from from this place are absolutely stunning! We had a great time and were very comfortable here. We loved the hot tub and the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided for use on the lake. I would definitely stay here again if I was looking for a tranquil place near Ottawa.

We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

We didn’t get to stay long at Maribeth’s place as we were there for just a few hours each night but it was cozy and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Would’ve liked to actually enjoy the outdoor deck and the beautiful surroundings, hopefully there will be another time.

Had a great stay. Place was clean and had all the essentials. Would definitely stay again.
