Holiday rentals with lake access in Wallington

We had a great stay (4 adults, toddler and baby). For our group the house was child friendly on a quiet street with a large shaded out door area. We made use of the extremely well stocked kitchen and bbq. A short walk down to the beach and great little coffee caravan. Would recommend

The location is safe and secure. The house is well kept. The rooms and toilets are clean. No insects inside the house. I will stay here again for a longer time.

We loved this house!!! Lauren has done a beautiful job of furnishing and decorating this old 70s house. From the front, the street appeal isn't great but that doesn't matter at all once you enter. It's VERY spacious, stylish, comfortable and homely. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, Lauren even provides multiple towels for each guest which is so lovely when having a longer stay! It's the small, thoughtful touches like this that can make a huge difference.. There are books and games for both kids and adults alike. Lauren is so helpful and friendly, and was always quick to respond. Despite being an older house, we can't fault our stay, we absolutely loved it and would happily return. Thank you so much Lauren!!

This stay was exactly like we thought it would be. We wanted a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood and a lot of beds and room which is exactly what was shown in the online pictures and also experienced in person. We thoroughly enjoyed the open plan living area and the outside area made it so we could enjoy the good weather.

Great spot for a family holiday. The property itself is far enough away from houses for children to run around and be silly (including using the play equipment and tennis / basketball court), but near enough to towns and activities to keep everyone fed and entertained. The kitchen was also unusually well stocked in terms of pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Really enjoyed our stay.

Taylor was best described as understanding and accepting of a few honest mistakes and a late check in time. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend for the location, ease of access, value and great Host

What a find ! The house is beautiful in every sense. Everything was immaculate. The house is situated in a magical location ... what a view ... and we were delighted to arrive and discover all the inviting things waiting inside. Spacious, various roomy places for our group of ten people to be comfortable in together and little nooks and crannies where it was possible to enjoy a quieter moment. The large family living room with lounge area, casual dining and a kitchen that had "everything" a cook could ever need was where we hung out the most. And we also enjoyed some elegant dining at the formal dining table too! The bedrooms were in various separate locations. All were roomy, beds firmly soft and snuggy warm ... two rooms with ensuite and the main bathroom central to the other bedroom wing. An amazingly well designed house providing easy living. A bit late in the season to take advantage of the outdoor living with the pool and spa - maybe another time ? Gorgeous

Viana went above and beyond to make our trip so special. From the delicious fresh bread and treats to the steam presser fresh ice in the freezer Parking pass for the Grand Prix Transport cards and very comprehensive local knowledge Everything was beautifully set up for us and we couldn’t have been more impressed. Very strongly recommend staying here.

Our stay at the apartment was very enjoyable. James has the apartment set up perfectly for guests with a few added extras. It is spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay relaxed and comfortable. It was within walking distance to shops and restaurants and perfectly positioned for our swimming competition. This was a great place to stay, the view out over Albert park was gorgeous and you could see it from the bedroom. We found heaps of great restaurants close by, walking distance if you felt like it. Tamara was very helpful and responsive, even for late messages, would highly recommend.

Super friendly and responsive hosts, and the place was perfect for what I needed! It was great having somewhere to park my car that was safe, secure and easily accessible, which is important when you’re a car guy. Would definitely stay again when I’m in Melbourne.

We had a very easy check in and the accommodation was in a great location and was well priced. The bedrooms are not large but have comfortable beds and the unit has two bathrooms. We didn’t cook but the kitchen looked like it held everything needed. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. The living area had everything needed. Froilan also left some local information that was a nice and welcome touch. Car parking was secure. We would definitely stay again.

Louise’s apartment was just perfect! Cosy and full of charm. We felt so at home. The apartment was perfectly set up and had everything we could possibly need. The location was great with trams, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and Albert Park all out the front door. Louise is a fabulous host! She was so helpful and made our stay seamless. She even left lovely birthday surprises for the girls. Highly recommend!

Incredibly peaceful surrounds with rolling hills, pond with ducks and access to a tennis court and a basketball ring. The cottage is perfectly basic with a great selection of board games and a TV without Netflix/streaming. We enjoyed sunset on the back porch, games of tennis and the close proximity to beaches and wineries. Thank you Anastasia for sharing this slice of summer paradise

Our two visits 'bookended' a two week holiday in Tasmania, via Ferry rides with car. We very much appreciated being able to visit and stay at Christines accommodation.

Wayne is a great host. The property is within the Barrabool Maze Estate. We had access to the entire estate whilst there and our son had a fantastic time doing the maze a few times. There's also a variety of birds and a playground and lots of other things to see. A great cafe with great service and yummy food. The house itself is filled with beautiful art, knick knacks and very spacious. Clean rooms, has everything you need for a weekend stay and felt very private. Not too far from Geelong or surrounding towns. Recommend if you're ever wanting to stay somewhere not too far from a city but wanting quiet & relaxing surroundings.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A cozy, welcoming cottage with a beautiful timber finish inside that gave it a warm, homely feel. The garden was full of colour and charm, and the fresh muffins and fully stocked fridge were such thoughtful touches. The hosts were lovely and very responsive — we felt well looked after from start to finish.

Kate and Evan have a BEAUTIFUL property. They were extremely helpful and friendly upon checking in. The cottage we stayed in was beautiful, peaceful and felt very warm and homey. We enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the animals and gardens. Most importantly the stay was dog friendly for our two golden retrievers. Their friendly Labrador Cesar was a great host and greeted us, showed us around the property and kept the Goldie’s good company. Highly recommend a stay at SoHo Estate!

Our group of 5 all equally enjoyed our stay at the Cottage - we found everything was just as described in the listing and the relative seclusion made us feel as if we were on holiday. We'll definitely stay here again.

This cottage is on a big property with other cottages and the host’s residence - you’d never know it though, it’s extremely private and we didn’t see anyone during our stay (other than the friendly alpacas coming to visit in the mornings 😁). The cottage itself is as you’d imagine it from the photos. The little reading room with big comfy chairs and a lovely view of the valley was a favourite, as was the balcony with the same view. The house is very comfortable, though the shower is tricky and one of the single beds is quite squeaky. Overall we were very happy here and would stay again.
