Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Wallowa County

We had a wonderful time at the listing. The host was responsive, the home was beautiful and our first night it snowed. It was so magical watching the snow come in over the lake while sitting across from the fireplace. We were astounded by the craftsmanship that went into the home as well. We look forward to coming in the summer and enjoying the outdoor activities too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved staying in this home. Had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Our host was very accommodating to some specific needs and we felt this place was a great value. We loved having a yard with deck and fire pit to hang out and our host takes pride in the outdoor environment with beautiful Flowers and herbs. This translated to an additional space we had not really expected but thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms, beds, bathrooms all well set up and very clean and comfortable. Thank you!

It was perfect for what we needed. It was our son’s wedding weekend in Joseph which was just a short and scenic drive away. It accommodated part of our family and a couple pets. Everyone had their own private space and we enjoyed the instruments!

Our new favorite at Wallowa Lake! We have come this time of year every year for the last 5. This place was awesome! We use the long weekend for a reset and relaxation weekend with our entire family. For 7 of us there was plenty of room and between board games and the pool table we were never board and always relaxed. Fun for everyone. Great place and I would recommend it to anyone as long as it’s not our weekend! Thank you very much for allowing us to share it!

the cabin was exactly as depicted in the pictures. it was spacious, easy walking to everywhere. lots to see and do. we had a great time. everything was easy to find in the house and clean up was very easy. well worth the price and would love to do it again!

I simply loved the beautiful location next to a rushing river. Lots of trees and a perfect table for picnics and so private. Felt like home….. Thank you

Very quiet & peaceful location. Roomy home with large deck & bedroom balconies. We stayed in October, so the dock was out, but would be nice sumner stay in the lake!

I was in this area for a memorial service and my plans were tentative at best for the entire weekend. Stacy so kindly worked with me as the family’s plans changed, and my plans changed, and it could not have been a better arrangement. The gorgeous historic home felt so cozy as soon as you walked in. I stayed in the king sized bedroom with the in-room bathroom. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and there was plenty of room to unwind and relax. This was a much needed respite in such a stunningly beautiful area!

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and the glamping experience was like nothing we have ever experienced! We both enjoy camping and the outdoors so the tent with electricity and a real bed was a plus! The area was exactly as the pictures showed with a rustic outdoor shower and homemade bathroom with a tent cover. The property was beautiful and quiet and just a short drive to Joseph. I would highly recommend!!!

This lakefront house was perfect for our long weekend. We rented this and another Vacasa home just a few doors down and both homes were exactly what we needed. The view from the deck was perfect from sunrise to sunset and the neighboring homes had friendly visitors. We had one dog who navigated the stairs fine in this home and we appreciated the ability to block the deck exits so he could stay confined with us while we enjoyed meals on the deck. The dock worked well for our boats and the fishing was fantastic. We absolutely would stay in this home again.

Great little cabin with everything one would need to relax and enjoy the area for a few days! Shower was a little small but amazing pressure so no complaints there. Close enough to the lake we could walk to plus all the other little attractions and shops in the area.

The apartment was super clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook simple meals. We loved the location. An easy walk into town or to some lovely local trails. Todd was easy to communicate with and gave us all the information we needed to easily find the apartment and check in. We will be back!

There were a lot of qualities I liked about this cabin - lots of big windows with easy pull-down blinds for nighttime. Big kitchen counter with big windows to see outside. A long driveway off the road, making it private and peaceful (but know you have to back out - there is no room to turn around). A stream running next to the picnic table. The bathroom was small but has what you need (AND a washer and dryer). Kitchen was equipped with basic cooking pans and utensils. Bathroom had plenty of towels. And the layout was spacious. I never needed to reach out to Janet but she was communicative before I arrived. All and all, a great experience.

Was beautiful place spacious with balcony to have coffee on in morning. Sugar time bakery just downstairs for breakfast we would definitely stay there again. Thanks for the wonderful time Laurie and Paul From Seattle

The tent was extremely cozy and comfortable. It got chilly at night but the extra comforter on the bed and the wood stove kept us warm and toasty. The outdoor shower was great though a little exposed. My dog had a great time and the whole family - Kathleen, Grady Sr, Grady Jr and Alyssa were all friendly, accommodating, and had great local hiking tips. The location was perfect too - just minutes from Joseph and Enterprise. I hope to be back in the future!

Great location. Private. Wildlife viewing was an added bonus. Appreciated a spot where we could walk around, explore, let the kids play without worry. I'd stay again!

As much as I’d love to gatekeep this home for myself, everyone should know how amazing this place is. We have been to Wallowa Lake quite a few times and this is our favorite pet friendly rental. Lia was a wonderful host and helped make our stay a memorable one. She was very responsive and had the best recommendations for activities, hikes and places to eat around town. The home was clean and spacious (there was more than enough room for my large family), the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to chef it up, the kids area was perfect for my 2 littles, there are 2 large decks that over look the lake and was great for watching the sunrise and hanging out, my kids loved the soaking tubs on the bottom deck and it has its own private dock that is accessible from the home. This lakefront home is truly a magical oasis. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and recharge, this is it!! We will continue to come out year after year.
