Welcome to our log cabin! We are a family with 6 kids who really love this cabin and want to share it. Please enjoy yourselves and know that we are not a big corporation but a family. The deer come out in every season, don't be surprised if you see them in the driveway. We have a feeder on the side fence for them. The cabin has comfy beds, extra blankets and pillows, a fully stocked kitchen including cast iron to cook, chilly A/C, a wood stove for winter, & new reclining La-Z-Boy couches.

Our cozy cabin includes a loft bed, a kitchenette, a wood stove, a full bathroom and televisions with DVDs. Enjoy an enormous, furnished deck overlooking Mosier Creek with a barbecue and a fire pit. Unplug. Enjoy the peace and quiet! We are a hop away from wineries, the Columbia River, and Hood River. We are 54 minutes from Mt. Hood Meadows. One caveat, our Internet sometimes is great, sometimes spotty or sometimes non-existent, depending on the mood of our Starlink satellite.

What gave this place value was the convenience of having my boat parked right in front of our door. I could clean up the boat and get it ready for the next days fishery. I could walk across the street to Bob’s Texas steakhouse for very reasonably priced food and drinks. Located directly behind the Gorge outfitters store, I was able to get what I need every morning and off to the fishery before most or even getting out of bed. Wendy was a great host and I was there if we needed her.

We had a great stay at Lindsay's place. The townhome was well laid out and maintained. Lindsay was always very responsive and made sure we were enjoying our stay. The area is slightly industrial, but being directly on the Riverwalk Trail and the Columbia River itself more than made up for it! Will definitely stay here again!

The best part was the view from the living room and deck of the river and valley. The bed and linens were very nice. The location is remote, without mobile service, but there is WiFi in the house. You have to carry your bags up a flight of stairs, but it’s nice to hang out on the top floor for the view. The A/C works really well. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the remoteness, but I’m very glad we did this time to experience the beauty of the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Everything worked fine, it was very clean. An interesting house in a very small town on the river. You could watch the para-sailers on the Columbia river. Not from the house, but it was in a beautiful area. It was set up for dogs, which we appreciated because we brought our dog, Bowen. Big beautiful fenced yard. Our dog spent a lot of time back there. Beautiful plants too, lots of colorful perennials, if a dog ran over it, it would be ok. We knew that there were limited store and restaurant around so we brought our own food. Worked fine. We enjoyed the house and the small town and would come back!

Beautiful setting. Great access to the lake. We had deer in the yard everyday and food to feed them. Huge decks with plenty of room for everyone. The home had a propane fire pit table on the deck. This property is very private and had everything we needed and some. Air conditioning worked great!! It was very warm. Bridget was very quick to respond when I had a question and we all had a fabulous stay. I look forward to renting again in the future and have referred this property to a friend before I left. My son and I had a wonderful stay at Jill's place in Hood River. The property is in a convenient location (close to local grocery, cute bakery, downtown, etc.), yet the setting was very peaceful. We enjoyed strolling through downtown Hood River, eating a picnic lunch on the waterfront, and hiking the local trails with wildflowers in bloom! Jill's place is very comfortable, stylishly decorated, spacious, and clean. We appreciated the fun selection of games and puzzles, too! Jill was a great host and we will definitely come back to stay again in the future!
