Great cabin, decor, vibe. Host Bethany was very responsive and made check in and out easy. Peaceful, beautiful setting. Would definitely stay again if up that way.

Right away I was super impressed with the communication. All the information was laid out and easy to understand. We loved the cabin and its location. We were comfortable and enjoyed every part of our stay. We played games (indoor/outdoor), enjoyed a couple bonfires, had family dinners in the dining nook, went on walks in the area and spent some time in Spooner (eating and shopping.) It was nice to have a simple coffee maker. The kitchen had plenty of items for cooking. We brought up homemade chili and heated it up in a pot, made eggs every AM and one night we used their grill. Plenty of kitchen items! The property is beautiful. I loved relaxing while my husband went fishing with our children. My husband and dog met the neighbor and said he was really nice. I LOVED the stores in Spooner. The host had information about local establishments; thank you! Towels, extra blankets and bedding were perfect too! Everything was clean and cute decor:) Definitely recommend.

This is our second year staying at the Wooden Spoon Lodge and we enjoyed it even more. It is the perfect cabin for a peaceful, beautiful vacation. The water is clear and view of the lake is incredible. Will definitely stay again. Thanks Wendy!

We had the most amazing girls weekend at this beautiful lake house! The home was absolutely gorgeous—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. The lake itself was calm, serene, and the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. It felt like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our host was incredibly sweet and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing escape with friends. We’re already talking about coming back!

James’s place was incredible to have a family vacation at! It was very spacious and clean and came with LOTS of activities. We hope to be back!

This is 3rd or 4th time we have stayed at Bailey's and loved it. The house is beautiful and she provides tons of ammenities. Love sitting on deck looking over the lake and watching the geese with their babies, ducks and babies and plenty of Eagles.

My husband and two boys came here to visit. The inside was everything you could need with lots of sleeping arrangements. The outside was phenomenal. Large outdoor area, two docks, close to boat ramp, lots of off the doc fishing. the kitchen was well stocked. We were fortunate to have great weather, but they had other things to do in town in case the weather was bad. Aimee was very responsive. We have never visited an AirBNB twice because we like to try new things, but we would absolutely come back here.

Very nice place to stay! We had 9 people including 3 kids staying with us and it was plenty of space. Noise travels through the home, so using a white noise machine for kiddos was helpful! The beach needed to be raked of muck, but after that it stayed nice and sandy for the rest of the stay. The fire ring beachside with firewood provided was really nice - nothing beats a s'more by the lake! Erin provided us with kayaks, a canoe, paddle boards, and plenty of sand toys. The lake was shallow, which made us feel better about the little ones in the water. Inside, the living spaces were very comfortable and the kitchen was nice. Would for sure stay again!

Our stay at Loon Lake was wonderful! Janie was fantastic to deal with - very friendly and welcoming. Communication was great from the moment we booked. She shared helpful tips for us to prepare for our visit and made check-in a breeze. The property is beautiful and convenient to Hayward. The beds were very comfortable and the sound of the train only added to the charm. We would absolutely stay at Loon Lake again and plan to do so in the future. First time staying in a air b and b. The process to check in was easy. pictures were what they were. Very peaceful, sitting on the deck looking at the lake was beautiful with all the trees changing colors. The home was what we expected and more everything we needed was there. Great place to stay!!

What a wonderful cabin to get away from everyday life. This hidden gem is right on the lake with incredible sunsets and sunrises. We got to fish right off of our own private dock, Bethany and Cole had a fire pit already for us to use and a basket of all the fixings for s’more. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed, but being so close to the lake I would recommend you bring your own drinking water. Bethany and Cole answered all of our questions and were so friendly, we stayed for four days only, I just wish we could have stayed for the whole summer.

This is a beautiful home, clean and well stocked. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed the lake, played yard games, and the kids loved the games inside the house as well. We had a wonderful family vacation. Thank you Bill for your quick responses to all questions we had.

Pam‘s place was perfect for my husband, myself and our grown-up children! It was extremely clean, lots of bedrooms and space for everyone and the game room was a huge bonus! We all had fun playing pool, shuffleboard, pinball, and especially ping-pong! The house itself was fully equipped with everything you could’ve possibly ever dreamed of! I don’t think they missed a beat! From napkins, Ziploc, disposable cups, and plates, even Advil and Band-Aids! The kitchen was stocked with really nice quality kitchen wear! I really enjoyed the crockpot when making my barbecue pulled pork! The frosty glasses in the freezer and the cute little gift bag for a very nice surprise that made us feel right at home! I would recommend staying here to anyone that enjoys a relaxing vacation home that’s ready for you to walk into without any work waiting! Fantastic stay!! Thank you!!

This is a comfortable house with plenty of room, near a beautiful stream. Supplies were very well stocked. And communication with Cindy was excellent. I highly recommend it and hope to return next year.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Everything about it was perfect. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The hosts were quick to get back to us when we needed them. Our family loved the pontoon and went out to swim and/or fish several times a day. Our family of 12 found this to be a wonderful getaway home.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! We even had poor weather and still had a wonderful time. The place has everything you could possibly need for a fun cabin weekend and a great beach/lake. Walkable to town.

Great clean lake front stay in beautiful shell lake! End of dock is 4-5+ feet deep so plenty deep for a boat!

Beautiful home with great view of the lake. Stayed with a group of 12 to ride the many trails around the area with our sxs. Everyone was comfortable with sleeping arrangements. Loved the bar area to visit and talk with friends. The main kitchen was large and my husband’s dream as he loves to cook for large groups. Host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.
