Holiday rentals with lake access in Washington County

We absolutely felt at home! Susan made the whole trip easy, she provided clear instructions made herself available and left plenty of household supplies if we needed them. It was such a beautiful location we spent every day playing on the water and looking at the stars at night! We would definitely repeat this trip!

The place was very comfortable and the entire family enjoyed relaxing in the house and on the deck. They also had lots of fun kayaking, swimming and fishing at the lake. Candice is a superb host. Very quick to respond if you have questions. It was such a pleasure staying at her place.

Our time at Small Wonder was nothing short of magical. This was a 25+ year trip in the making to Maine and we were so please. Traci has a beautiful camp that has all the amenities of home and beyond. It was well stocked with all that we needed and more and the property was better than any photo shown. We enjoyed the remoteness and the sense of a community within the area and would love to spend more time here and at East Grand Lake in the future. Thank you from our family to yours! We had a wonderful stay at Jesstine’s cabin! This is our second summer staying here with our two kids and two dogs. The location is incredible and the cabin has everything you need. We hope to come back for many summers!

Natalie and April's cabin on the lake is absolutely amazing! Extremely quiet and so peacefully relaxing! Very clean and organized with just about everything you could imagine needing available to you! We will definitely be booking with these wonderful ladies again next time we are visiting!

We booked Mary's place for three coworkers while they were in a job in Calais. They reported that it was awesome and much preferred it over the meager solutions out that way. Very nice and reasonable option.

Guys fishing trip. Location is perfect, well equipped and with everything needed in the kitchen and baths. Definitely in the “must return” category! (Also, 5 Stars for the fishing and boat launch convenience)

My mother and I loved our stay at Tugwassa. When we weren’t exploring the nearby area, we spent our time looking out at the pond, enjoying the fire, and reading Mrs. Osborne’s poems! The cottage is beautifully decorated with a well-equipped kitchen. I loved taking the time to appreciate all the artwork and ornaments. Anne is very welcoming and hospitable - she has many great local recommendations and is nearby if you need any help. I’m looking forward to coming back again!

We had a great stay at Meggy's place. The lake is so peacful and the house and garden super convenient with kids ! We'll definitely recommend it. Thanks again!

Enjoyed this comfortable cabin right on the lake with a great deck for watching the sunrise or practicing yoga. The beach area offered a dock, sand and kayaks/ canoe.

Little camp was perfect for me- would be great for a couple with a 1-2 young kids or just the couple. Lake is pristine. Mark was very responsive to a couple issues I had and fixed them right away. Would stay again FYI the water access is down very steep hill- just be aware. No problem for most people (or me). Just didn't see it in the listings.

This was a relaxing down-east Maine getaway location. The spacious deck overlooks a large, but quiet lake with sunset views. The cottage is new with everything you need to relax. It was nicely appointed with two bedrooms and additional accommodations downstairs that would be great for kids. The kitchen is well-appointed and we christened the new grill outside for a steak dinner. Mary is right next door for anything you need. We’ll stay here again if we are in the area.

Cottage #7 more than surpassed our expectations. We have family in Pembroke, and we elected to stay here for a visit and this will be our go to spit every time. It's super quiet with all the essentials which made it easy to unplug and unwind while being really close to food options and shopping. We are definitely going for a waterfront spot for our next visit, but #7 sits alone atop a hill overlooking a Meadow, which is really nice from a privacy standpoint. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Thank you!

This cabin is very nice and comfortable. The dock and view are so nice. Beautiful area.
