Holiday rentals with lake access in Waushara County

What an incredible place to rent. Quiet neighborhood, lots of amenities, and great lake views. We have stayed at other rentals in high traffic areas (Kissimmee FL or Gatlinburg TN) that were OK but seemed like rentals based on the quality of furnishings, and cleanliness. This rental was amazingly clean - really spotless in every regard. It also had quality dish soap, laundry soap/dryer sheets, fluffy towels, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable furniture - it really felt like home for our 11 day stay. Becca was very responsive on a few occasions we had questions. The lake was beautiful and fun especially with the provided fishing gear, kayaks, life vests, and dock. The fishing was great but even if you don't fish the views are so relaxing day or night. Neighbors were friendly as we got to know a few and they would always say hello to our dogs when we walked them and even called them by name. All in all a fantastic property that we hope to stay at again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed. We especially loved the hot tub and the water activities like kayaking and paddleboarding. The host was very helpful, promptly answering all our questions and accommodating every request. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a great weekend stay at Becky’s. Two adults and three kids ages 6-13. We all had so much fun on the lake with the paddle boards, kayak, and lily pad. The water is so clean and clear! Kids caught fish off the dock. The house was spacious and the family room with huge TV was great space to play games and watch shows/sports after a day on the lake. Great space to eat meals outside and a fire pit to make s’mores for dessert. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful lake, spacious but cozy home. Everyone could be doing their own thing, but you still felt close!

This was a perfect place to spend a quality weekend for four adults and two dogs. We found everything we needed and felt right at home. The walking trails were beautiful, and the fishing was fun! The screened in porch was a great place for morning coffee, a good book, and catching the lake breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay at Susan’s place. Beautiful lake and all the amenities we needed. We we’re able to check in early. Lots to do in the nearby area and peaceful surroundings by the cabin. Very relaxing weekend. We hope to come back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again when visiting my family in WI. It's such a cute cabin with a beautiful view, very cozy and homey. Next time I'd like to stay longer to take more advantage of the lake.

What an amazing lake cottage! Plenty of space for our family. The location is so private but easy to find! My husband and I took morning walks and the area is so peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. The kayaks are there available for us to use and we had so much fun!

A quaint little cabin just a 2 min walk to the lakefront and you can see the sunset over the lake from the front porch! Located inside a private campground and nestled all the way in the back so it’s wonderfully private, but also only a short drive to stores/restaurants/bars !

My husband and I LOVED Kim’s place! Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. She perfectly combines the historical nature of the building with modern amenities and doesn’t hold back on quality! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in; it’s clear Kim spared no expense and curated every linen and bedding piece to make it super cozy. The kitchen and bathroom were squeaky clean. Kim provided a plethora of bath towels and extra bedding, as well as swim towels for the lake! Her communication was stellar; she was kind, proactive and responsive. The space is well designed and simple; it’s not kitsch or cluttered. The bikes in the back were so fun to ride on the bike path along the lake and the nearby shops and restaurants are a must-see/experience. You’re really going to love it at Kim and Craig’s place - I’m already trying to plan my trip back there!

Danielle was super responsive and a wonderful host. Allowed us in a bit early on check in day and let us know all the details we needed to know promptly! We would go back!

We stayed here last year also. It is a very quaint and private place. Everything is wonderful. And very accessible to area restaurants and shopping. Hosts are personable and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in this area. Will book again. Cynthia

LOVE LOVE LOVE this airbnb! The arched windows that overlook the downtown are fabulous. This place was spotless and decorated nicely. The bedding and pillows were hotel quality. We will definitely stay again.

Rose’s place was absolutely perfect! Very comfortable home with everything you could need for a wonderful stay at the lakes. The location is ideal for access to the Wheelhouse, ICC, the lake and all the joys of Waupaca! The views were beautiful and Rose was super helpful. We will definitely be back again!!!

This Airbnb was right around the corner from the motel where my other friends were staying. There’s one designated parking spot for the unit behind the building, which is great since you’re not allowed to park on the street overnight. It was near the park and not that far from the dock. There’s a gas station one block away if you wanna grab some drinks.

Our kids and grandkids loved our stay at this casual sunset cove cottage. It was comfortable and there was something for everyone! The paddle boat, kayaks and pier fishing were a plus on this lake!

Beautiful lake home, very peaceful and quiet. House is very homy and there are alot of games and activities. Was close by to Wild Rose where we attended the Car Show and also close to the Trading Post where we enjoy to eat and hang out. The pier is great for fishing and just watching boats go by. We had a wonderful time, this was our second stay and my kids were very excited. Thank you again.

Stayed here with some extended family and really enjoyed it. The setting was beautiful and quiet, with a great view. The cabin/house was comfortable with a good aesthetic and had everything we needed. The game room in the garage was a nice touch, the kids were big fans. Host was friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price.

House was adorable! Really appreciated the paddle boards and kayak. It was great to have the lower level for the teenagers. Beautiful lake! Friendly neighbors! Highly recommend Good Times in Red Granite for Friday fish fry!

What a treasure this quaint family cottage on the hill was! The views and vibe were exactly what we needed to take a deep breath and reset. It was apparent that the family has enjoyed this spot for the over 50 years Lindsay said it had been in their family. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to rent it and make some memories. Our son and pooch LOVED using the paddleboard and cool swim raft from nearly the time we got there to the time we left The water and sand were gorgeous! My husband also caught a really great fish right off the pier. I loved that I could watch all the action from the elevated porch right off the bedroom in a comfy chair with coffee (or wine) in hand. The 44 steps back up from the lake were a good workout too lol. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Lindsay and family!

Great place, cozy, comfy, exceeded my expectations. Having the dam right there was so lovely with the waterfall sounds & birds singing in the trees, and so relaxing with my coffee on the deck as I soaked in my beautiful surroundings. William was easy to work with, easy access to the location, and hey…. a Coffee house in the shared place was a BONUS!! Thank you William for sharing this lovely space & location with your guests! We hope to be back one day!

The place was perfect for my husband, two kids, two dogs and I. It was a peaceful getaway we needed to recharge as a family! The lake and sandy beach were amazing - you could walk right out into the water. My 3-year-old cried when we left because he loved it so much. And the host left s’more’s kit in the fridge along with wine and a custom wine opener! I sat outside and read for hours one night - moms never get that much peace time. I can’t say enough about how great this place is. And dog friendly was perfect for us. There’s even a gated porch so we could all hangout there while the dogs dried off. Thank you Nicole for our perfect getaway!

The Farmhouse was great for our purposes. We gathered for a 50th wedding anniversary & had local family & friends visiting us in the evenings & relaxing on the deck. The yard to the channel water edge is HUGE and great for kids & yard games. (provided) Kayaks are available but we didn't get to use them. While on a County road it is a quiet neighborhood and quite peaceful. A large dining table and seating for 8 next to a comfy large living room and adjoining smaller living room were great for relaxing while others watched the Olympics. The kitchen looked out on the deck & the lawn & was fully equipped. We enjoyed our 5 days here.
