Designed for families as a relaxing spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, the "Hillside Hideaway" is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin perched on a hill in southeastern Missouri with a gorgeous sunset view from the screen porch. We have a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, fire pit, and plenty of toys and games for the whole family. It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.

About 20 minutes from Poplar Bluff. outdoor gas grill and a small charcoal grill and patio with a fire pit in a large yard. We have weak wifi . No smoking!

Annual 5 brothers outing. Had a great time. Plenty of space and privacy and accomodations as well as excellent porch, bbq, and fire pit area. Close to Clearwater Lake, Black River, Piedmont for fishing, etc. When needed, Tara was very responsive. Thank you Tara!

So glad there’s finally a place to stay in Greenville!! The outside looked a little dingy, but the inside was amazing! It was a perfect getaways for a couple. It was quiet, private, and near beautiful rivers. -Pros: Near gas station, private, cozy atmosphere, full kitchen, towels, toilet paper, and a fan in the bedroom! -Cons: Food still in fridge/ freezer (not a big issue), the shower does NOT stay warm for long so take a quick shower lol, the oven was greasy on top, and there isn’t a lot of cookware/ dishes (also not an issue for us). The last and worst “con” of all would be the window over the toilet. There’s only lace curtains, so i was a little nervous someone would see me using the bathroom/ showering. Also not a huge issue (just used towels to cover window) This place is DEFINITELY worth the money and Rye was very helpful! I will most definitely be staying here every time i come to Missouri! Don’t hesitate to book here!!

It was a great location, close to everything that we had planned to do on our vacation. It felt like we were in the woods, even though there were stores less than a quarter of a mile away. We enjoyed being able to have a bonfire as well as being able to grill. We will definitely be back.

Our Aussie enjoyed getting to spend time running around in the river & we enjoyed the beautiful property - pictures do NOT do this place justice! My boyfriend even took advantage of the beautiful views & proposed by the natural spring! We can’t wait to come back to visit in the future!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was just as described and shown in the pictures. The inside was cozy and accommodating, the fire pit was lovely, the hot tub was wonderful, and it was just a short walk or drive to the lake. Would recommend!
