Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wenduine

Great Bruge location. Peaceful, walkable streets. super close to the main tourist attractions but still very quiet. 3 floors (VERY steep stairs) but manageable and plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen had enough for us to make a few meals (grocery store very close by). We were spoilt with 3 toilets and a soaking tub. Wowee! We'd stay here again if coming to Brugge! Amaryllis gave great recommendations for second hand shopping and even help call us a taxi. Wonderful host!

We had the most wonderful week at Frederiek’s place. We were there with our toddler and he loved the big garden and trampoline! The hosts also supplied a highchair and brilliant travel cot which was great and few car toys which got well used. We loved meeting Elmo the dog and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks for your kind and considerate hospitality Frederiek!

Wat een prachtige plek! We hebben twee nachten genoten van deze geweldige locatie. De omgeving is schitterend en de accommodatie was van alle gemakken voorzien – echt aan alles is gedacht. De eigenaren waren erg vriendelijk en reageerden snel op onze vragen, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. De tuin was een waar paradijs, met als hoogtepunt de dieren: de alpaca’s die we mochten aaien en voeren, en de kippen waar onze kleinzoon van twee enorm van genoot. Zo dichtbij de dieren zijn was voor hem (en voor ons) echt een bijzondere ervaring. Ook het weer zat mee, wat het verblijf extra fijn maakte. We kijken met veel plezier terug op deze dagen en raden deze plek van harte aan voor wie op zoek is naar rust, natuur en gastvrijheid.

Hilde welcomed us personally in her accommodation, which is a former storefront beautifully transformed into a cozy living quarter. Every room was designed differently, but each had its own charme. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

Beautiful property, clean and spacious. Meganne was quick to respond and always helpful. There was lots to do in the local area and was not too far a drive from multiple cities and towns. We had a lovely time in Belgium. Thank you!

We vonden het in lief huisje zo fijn. We voelden ons gelijk thuis in het mooi ingerichte dijkhuisje. Waar we meteen merkten dat Iske goed nagedacht heeft de knusse ruimtes bruikbaar en praktisch aan te laten voelen voor een korte verblijfperiode. Alles klopt. De voortuin was ook geweldig om in te zitten met het mooie weer dat we hadden. In de fijne stoelen kijken naar wat zo nu en dan voorbij komt over de wat hoger gelegen straat. Fietsende en wandelende ‘Sasputgenoten’ leuke katten en honden met baasjes. Met vrij uitzicht over het groen aan de overkant van de straat. Meer hadden we eigenlijk niet nodig. De elektrische fietsen die we konden huren van Iske waren perfect om de omgeving te verkennen. De tip die we van haar kregen over een pad te fietsen heel dicht langs (of eigenlijk tussen) de Westerschelde door was de beste. Het water, het uitzicht, vogels, koeien, grasland. We komen zeker een keertje terug om meer van Zeeuws Vlaanderen te zien en van het huisje te genieten.

Beautiful house, very clean, modern amenities, one of the best places we've stayed. Gerda and Sigfried offered early check in, left a lot of food/snacks for us to enjoy. The house is spotless, even cooking tools and utensils appear new which is usually hard to find in Airbnb. The owners take care of the house as it was their own. The location is very quiet, a outside the center but it can be easily reached by bus or ~30min walk. Highly recommend!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einem traumhaften Ausblick und dem rauschen der Wellen. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Wir waren erst skeptisch wegen dem Hauskomplex (Großer Betonklotz am Meer) und wurden von einem schummerigen schlecht beleuchteten Flur im 10. Stock empfangen. Auch das Abenteuer Tiefgarage war schon ein Erlebnis, da ich kein kleines Auto besitze und die Garage aus einer Zeit stammt wo man mit nicht so großen PKW geplant hat. Auch der Charme der Tiefgarage ist schon sehr "speziell" :-) Aber.....sobald man die Wohnung im 10. Stock betritt ist jegliche Skepsis wie verflogen. Die Einrichtung sehr schön und geschmackvoll. Moderne Küche mit guter Ausstattung, das Klappbett ist wirklich sehr gemütlich mit einer nicht ausgelegenen Matratze. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Das Bad ist ein Traum, tolle Einrichtung und absolut sauber ! Der Ausblick und das permanente Meeresrauschen verwandelten den Aufenthalt in ein traumhaftes Wochenende. -> Sehr gerne wieder <-

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung. Alles war sehr gepflegt, es fehlte an nichts (saubere Handtücher und Bettwäsche, komplette Ausstattung der Küche). Besonders schön war der Meerblick vom Balkon und wenn es regnete aus dem Wohnzimmer durch die riesige Balkonfenster. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet , wie haben und sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Frederik ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit. Bei Problemen könnte man ihn sofort anrufen, bei uns war aber alles sehr schön verlaufen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und die Wohnung weiter empfehlen. We had a very comfortable stay with 3 adults and 3 kids. The apartment is very well equipped and thought through so that the available space provides max usage. The dining area is very cosy and the view even better than on the photos. Communication with Vanessa was excellent at all times and we definitely want to come back. Thank you!

Fantistisch verblijf in dit kleine maar gezellige appartement op de zeedijk. Gelukkig gelegen aan de "rustige" kant van Blankenberge. Enkel en alleen al voor het fantastische uitzicht uit het appartement is dit de moeite waard. Alles was piekfijn in orde, ook de voorziene parking op wandelafstand was een echte plus.

Angele was awesome and very helpful. You need to bring your own linens and towels unless you want to pay an additional fee. There are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment. So you’ll need to be able to navigate stairs if staying there.

Bonjour Serge, nous avons apprécié à 100% votre logement, tout était parfait, très propre et bien agencé dans les lieux, vois avez vraiment un bel endroit tout proche de la mer. Nous sommes arrivées après avoir fait 360 km à vélo et votre logement a été notre refuge, très cosy et bien accueillant, MERCI !!!

I had a fantastic experience staying in the apartment. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect and check-in was smooth and easy. Sabine was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay, making sure I had everything I needed. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like snacks, local tips, extra amenities. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Komplett eingerichtete, saubere Wohnung mit Garage (ideal für Motorräder). Es fehlt an nichts. Vom Schlafzimmer aus hat man sogar Meerblick. Der Strand ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Die Gegend ist ruhig und freundlich. Die Anweisungen sind klar und sehr hilfreich. Der kleine Hund nebenan ist sehr süß und begrüßt einen nur einmal. :) Den Müll müsst ihr am Ende selbst entsorgen. Es kostet 1 oder 2 Euro, 75l. Klare Empfehlung! Vielen Dank

Bruges is a very compact city,and nearly all of the key attractions are just a short stroll from the apartment. We had a bulky/heavy suitcase which made the stairs up to the apartment a bit challenging and there are no cooking facilities, but that was made clear in the description, and everything else was perfectly fine. We would happily return, and highly recommend the apartment to other couples.

The flat is super cute and located in a great location. It’s close to all central attractions with paid parking just 3 mins away as described. Also charged at the lot which was helpful with my EV. It is on a main road so can be a bit noisy, but I’d absolutely recommend this place and stay here again.

Tres bel appartement rénové et de très bon goût. Tres propre , paisible et fonctionnel ! La communication avec Evi était parfaite et chaleureuse . Evi est très réactive, et flexible. Rien que du positif ! Je recommande chaleureusement !

Wir waren ein langes Wochenende in Oostende. Dafür ist diese Wohnung super. Liesbeth ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und ist schnell erreichbar. Die Wohnung hat einen eigenen Parkplatz, was sehr praktisch ist. Wir haben eine tolle Anleitung bekommen, wie die Wohnung und die Schlüssel zu finden sind. Dadurch war das alles kein Problem. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet und liegt perfekt, sodass es in der Wohnung sehr ruhig ist und man auch schnell ins Zentrum und an den Strand kommt. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Perfect verblijf! Makkelijk parkeren, alles super netjes en het mooiste uitzicht van Blankenberge vanuit elk raam. Matras voelde voor ons wel een beetje hard.
