What a beautiful home, and comfortable. Well appointed, access to the national park was straightforward by car. Bring some smaller cash notes if you like buying produce from roadside stands. Look forward to staying here again Not a feature of the house at all, but the local eateries* were somewhat disappointing (except for stopping in at agrarian kitchen kiosk on the way in from Hobart) vs the kitchen at the house was so lovely that in retrospect we would have put more effort into cooking at home. *cafe at the mount field visitors centre and the fika cafe at Maydena

Beautiful place to stay. Extremely clean and tidy with a very comfy bed. Cannot fault anything about my stay. Scott was so friendly and hospitable. Really easy to find and Scott's instructions were perfect. I will definitely be back.

A perfect stay prior to flying out the next day. Very central and some lovely walks to do but very close to the city. Very warm and cosy for those cold winter night. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Jane's place was fantastic. The home and gardens are beautiful, and the location was perfect. We enjoyed everything about this stay, and highly recommend Tarcombe House if you are staying in the Deloraine area.

If it weren't for Rose's recommendation, we would have missed the cute platypus and echidna! Her house is very beautiful, very clean and tidy. Rose is very nice and she also prepared healthy and nutritious smoothies for us! This accommodation experience is simply amazing!

A really classy air bnb. Many look good in pictures but Cheryl’s place is even better than the pictures. The bathroom is luxe, the lounge room is massive & everything is very thoughtfully & tastefully decorated. The pillows are divine. There’s everything you need here, including a heater that heats the spaces very quickly tucked away with beautiful views of the courtyard & its maple trees. Highly recommend

Loved everything. Highly recommend for a quiet time away but only 5min walk to everything , main shopping area, great pubs and eateries and waterfront. Apartment had absolutely everything you need just like a home away from home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jacqui’s Studio Three! The space was spotless, beautifully styled, and incredibly comfortable — everything we needed was provided and more. From the fully stocked kitchen to the thoughtful extras like fresh bread, jam, and drinks in the fridge, it’s clear Jacqui goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome. The location was peaceful and convenient, making it the perfect base for our trip. Every detail was carefully considered, and we truly felt at home during our stay. Communication was easy and warm, and check-in/check-out was seamless. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality Airbnb experience. Private, modern and comfortable. A 30 minute walk to city centre, on a bus route also. Lisa was very helpful and informative responding immediately. Enjoyed exploring Launceston and day tour to Bay of Fires. Appreciated the food and chocolates provided. Thanks for a lovely stay, Lisa. Highly recommended.

A lovely two days spent here. An easy walk to Cataract Gorge and Stillwater restaurant. A lovely, comfortable apartment. Added bonus of EV charger.

What a very special, gorgeous cottage to stay in. Julie and Gary have done everything meticulously as they have lovingly restored the stable. There are special little touches everywhere - beautiful linen on the comfortable bed, the fire laid ready to be lit, underfloor heating, warm towels, home made apricot jam and quince jelly along with sourdough bread, cheese and wine. The breakfast goodies in the fridge were yummy. Nothing has been overlooked. It was such a joy to walk in the garden and have Julie show us around. The cottage is in a great location to check out the Tamar Valley and local area. Communication leading up to our stay was really great. Thank you Julie and Gary for being such wonderful and welcoming hosts and for your kindness in letting us share your special cottage.

Margaret and Brett's place was a delight to stay at. Margaret was there to greet me and she had left lovely fresh flowers and yummy biscuits for me to enjoy. The location was great. An easy walk down to the cruise boats with a good workout back up the hill after😀 The bed was comfortable with lovely sheets and the fire was so welcome and cosy. I would definitely recommend a stay here if coming to Strahan.

So incredibly lucky to stay at such a stunning escape. Every detail of the place makes it so unique. Had a little welcome basket with local goodies, made me feel very welcomed. Everything was amazing !

If you're looking for a place to breathe, relax, contemplate, reflect, play, chat and spend quality time with family and friends, Eagles Nest 2 is perfect. With Mt Roland and a big wide sky as the grand backdrop view from all angles of the house, and with cathedral height windows celebrating every inch of the view, being inside and outside feels seamless. Eagles Nest is an experience. All the rooms are themed and the decor interestingly eclectic. The beds are very comfy. The place is clean. The kitchen has everything one needs. And then there's the outdoor spa (where you run your outdoor bath) tucked discreetly away for a relaxing soak. I think spectacular is the best word to describe the view and the night sky. We even saw a meteor shower from our bed which will be forever etched in my mind, with Mt Roland silhouetted in the background and a squillion million stars twinkling in the night sky (admittedly it was 4.30am - I'd woken to visit the bathroom - lucky timing!). So nice!

Had an amazing stay! The place was beautifully styled, and even better than the photos. Great peaceful location, super comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches throughout. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy. Would absolutely stay again!

Robert is a lovely host and genuinely cares to do his best for the guests. He cooked delicious breakfast for us and was full of stories and recommendations about places to visit nearby. His parrot Taco is very cute and all in all we had a great stay!
