Amazing time front of the ocean, enjoying time with kids and familly. The pool seems great but was too cold for us in this early time of the year.

The pool house is so cute and the outdoor patio is gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. Great place to stay if you want to stay near New Haven but also want to enjoy quiet away from the city. Sue is a responsive and very generous host!

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Allana’s house by the sea! When we had a small incident with the keypad, Allana was quick to answer my call and resolve the issue no problem. Everything was clean and beautiful! We especially enjoyed the screened in porch in the back to enjoy our meals. The view from the master bedroom and deck is incredible! We highly recommend and will be back!

Jan's house was a great stay with plenty of room for six adults. We loved the game room and outdoor hot tub. Instructions for the hot tub were clear and easy to follow. We'd definitely stay again!

Our stay was stunning. The location is quiet and peaceful yet close enough to the town to get what you may need. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous. It’s clean, the layout is beautiful, and the views are out of this world. A truly incredible place to stay. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was perfect, and each room has a full bath which was great for our family. Overall highly recommend

Meaghan was a wonderful host who was very prompt, kind, and respectful of privacy. The house itself was stylish, comfortable, and modern while being kid friendly which is a tough thing to achieve in any home let alone an Airbnb. The view from the house was an absolute highlight! We had a great time!

very charming century old home with hardwood floors & doors and with the addition of modern amenities 🥰 Everything needed was already thought of by the Host & Hostess such as plenty of cooking utensils for all types (grill, stove top, oven, microwave, toaster) & thoughtful provision of 2 different coffee makers, kettle for tea plus 2 cold beverage pitchers. we used this location as a central base to do day trips to Boston, Hartford/New Haven & New York City & spend time exploring marine life on the beach ⛱️

Had a great stay over Christmas Holiday with family. House was big, convenient, clean and easy to get into. Great view of the ocean. Would definitely stay there again.

We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary so we wanted to treat ourselves to a stay at a beach house and this choice did not disappoint. Our stay was amazing; all the stress melted away the second we walked in this home. The view was spectacular and I really wished I could have taken the view from the huge kitchen window home with me. Owners were very quick to respond to any of our questions. Water was very refreshing, not freezing cold like back home in MA. Bistro Mediterranean & Tapas Bar in East Haven was a hidden jewel. We went there several times because there were so many yummy choices (and the prices were very reasonable). There is a small airport nearby so it was really cool watching the planes glide over the house. It was very hard to leave our home away from home and we will definitely be renting again in the near future.

The stay at Matthew's place was great. One of the best airbnbs we've stayed at. Right on the water and the views were amazing. The place was clean and everything we needed was there. Matthew was an amazing host, probably one of the best we've ever had. He answered all my questions before heading out there and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely come out here again and it was great for our family.

A lovely cozy home!!! We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and it was so nice to come back to the house and relax after a long day on the fields- also a very well stocked kitchen to make food. A nice running/walking path at the park down the road too. Annie gave lots of recommendations and responded immediately when I reached out. An excellent home and an excellent host. Couldn’t ask for anything better!!!

We had a great stay at the Airbnb. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned in the reviews or descriptions is that this beach had tons of sea glass! In our short stay we found over 100 pieces and my 4 year old was absolutely delighted scouring the beach for it. There are also tide pools less than a five minute walk from the house. These two things made the stay quite magical for my kids. Otherwise the location is great and the house was very clean. I appreciated the bed on the first level having a trundle as well as a door at the top of the stairs for safety. The house is minimally decorated which is honestly a plus when you don’t have to worry about your kid breaking nicknacks on coffee tables. A few nice throw blankets and nicer glassware would have added to the stay though. Overall we were very happy with this property.

This is our second time staying at Rudy’s wonderful home but definitely will not be our last! Rudy is amazing at being an Airbnb host but he’s also such a great man. He’s so helpful and kind. We really love this home and getting to know Rudy more and more with every visit. The place was very nice and clean. The 85-inch TV was awesome. Pet-friendly. My cat usually doesn't like trips, but he loves that place and has a lot of fun.

Natalie was awesome and very friendly, she even let us check in a few hours early. The apt looks just like the photos, it was spotless. I truly enjoyed all the amenities and attention to detail, plenty of chargers and outlets, the alexa was a plus. 2 large flat screen tvs, snacks and refreshments. Kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped, overall excellent stay and would stay again! Also lots of restaurants near by and supermarket was only 2 minutes away.

I moved to the New Haven area for a new job and needed a safe, comfortable place to stay at until I learned more about the area and could find a more permanent place. I was truly lucky that Dan's house was available. I stayed a little over 50 days, from Mid August to the end of September, there. The house is well furnished and very clean with a kitchen which has all sorts of kitchen gadgets, utensils, appliances, and pots and pans. Even though I didn't visit it too many times, the beautiful West Haven Sandy Point Beach is pretty close. Finally, Dan himself is a great gentleman and is very responsive to any issues that might arise. I would absolutely recommend staying at his place.

Inviting and comfortable home with great light and open space. Accessible to all you may need: restaurants, grocery, and wine shop. Rooftop was a lovely unique aspect!

We loved our stay! The house and area were just as described and the list of recommendations Gracie shared with us was much appreciated- we did a lot that was on it and enjoyed everything!

I couldn’t get enough of the patio overlooking the beach. My friends and I sat out there every single night, watching the tide come in and admiring the beautiful sunsets. It was absolutely idyllic. I’d recommend treating yourself to Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill during your visit. It’s pricey but so well worth it and only 15mins from this Airbnb.

Listing as described, we enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The house is as pictured, walk down the deck stairs onto the beach. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. If you are looking for a rental on the water in a social/family environment this would be a good choice for you.
