What a beautiful place to stay - right next to a nature reserve, with the oyster catchers and curlews calling at night and wildlife wandering into the garden. But also very close to pubs, coffee shop and the sea. Great if you like birds, wildlife and peace and quiet.

This place is 5 star in everyway. Tina was an excellent host and very responsive. The place was very spacious and clean. Comfy king bed and good shower. There’s a lovely welcome pack. Outside there’s a big outdoor setting overlooking fields and a fully fenced paddock to exercise your dog. Definitely be back!

Just wow, this is possibly the nicest Airbnb I’ve stayed in! Beautiful house, everything was high quality, kitchen had everything we could need! We were a big group staying for my daughter’s wedding locally & it was just perfect! I’d come back to this area just for this house!

Our stay at Minster was fabulous. Becky was the perfect host. the whole property was in perfect order- clean and very comfortable. There was even a helium 60th birthday balloon for our friend the celebration was for - so thoughtful! Everything we needed was provided - even ice in the freezer for our G&T's! I would whole heartedly recommend this property .

We had such an incredible time at this house. We were all pleasantly surprised at how great the house was and all the amenities. I don’t think the advert does it justice. We were a big group of 21 with 11 little ones who were in HEAVEN. We got very lucky with the weather and spent the whole weekend in the glorious grounds. We brought our own paddling pool and it was perfect. The aspect of the house means you get stunning sunsets and the back terrace is a real sun trap - long evenings sunbathing until 7pm! The surrounding area is stunning and the local village is so beautiful!! Walking distance (even with a million young children) to the village shop and then on to the very well equipped play park. We only wish we could have stayed for a week, the kids never wanted to leave. Some very special memories made here! Rachel the host is on the end of the phone for any questions and was excellent at responding to our queries.

South rectory is an amazing place to stay. It’s hidden behind gates and an impressive drive. It feels very grand and country estate but is really close to motorways and Brentwood.. We spent more than a month there waiting for a house sale and loved it.. The owners were very friendly and responsive and even let my dogs out for me each day which was soo helpful.. I would recommend and go back x

Lovely little place, was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. It was great to have the BBQ and seating outside so we could enjoy the sun. It was also good to have the passes for the clubhouse and pool. Our little one loved the Disney theme, especially all the Stitch items. Area is very peaceful, great views across the estuary. All the staff on site were very friendly and helpful, we had a great break.

The view from the caravan is beautiful. Waking up in the morning and having a cup of coffee while watching the the ships is absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed the view. The caravan is well equipped and my kids really enjoyed it playing outside while having a barbecue. Thank you very much and we hope to come back soon.

We stayed at Kirsty’s Carvan as a family of 5, the van was absolutely spotless and so many homely touches that made our weekend perfect, lovely bit of decking and seating area outside we really enjoyed as the weather was beautiful. Great communication from Kirsty we will definitely book again Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Margaret's caravan. It had everything you would expect from a modern caravan. We particularly enjoyed the decking. The clubhouse was good fun with live entertainment. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this comfortable & peaceful place to stay which is also dog friendly. It was only a shame we couldn't stay longer.

I love the areaa and have visited for forty years: I've been looking for somewhere to stay like Chantry Cottage for quite a number them! Thank you, Duncan: after over a year of gruelling illnesss and treatment this was mine and my wife's first trip away, and it was a great balm. We hope to come again.

I enjoyed my stay immensely, the local pub across the way a short op seconds stroll has an exceptional range of high quality food, serves by really friendly staff. If I ever need to be back in this part of the UK I shall certainly be seeking to return to this apartment.

Fantastic lodge, just as described, spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Ideally located to visit Maldon, Burnham, Leigh on sea etc. Good choice of country inns and cafes. Would definately stay again.

We had an excellent stay at Henry's place. A beautiful historic cottage with eclectic and interesting touches. Henry clearly has an eye for design and this quirky and charming property has it all. The garden is wonderful and a overall a great place to get away from it. Location is excellent, less than 5 mins puts you to shops restaurants and historic riverfront but without losing its peacefulness. Henry's local knowledge, responsiveness and amenable nature helped make our stay even better.

Great host, very responsive and gave clear instructions. The apartment is beautiful and very clean and has all the amenities.

Stayed about a month while visiting family. The house was exactly as described and very nice and clean. We had a great time
