Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Western Transdanubia

Great little house in perfect location in the center of the Balaton-felvidék, Berta was kind, responsive and proactive. She got us tools that we needed and answered to all of our questions. Highly recommended.

We got to know Judit and Sandor as wonderful hosts. Communication was always warm, so the Google translation didn't bother us. In addition to the apartment furnished with a lot of love for detail, we were spoiled with delicacies. Likewise, a bottle of wine and water was available for us as a gift. The apartment had air conditioning that we could use for a fee and that also sweetened the hot days for us. The apartment was just steps from the Balaton swimming beach. There was a supermarket and restaurants in the village. Since we were there in the off-season, the beach was free of charge. In our opinion, a trip to the south beach by ferry and the lake cave in Tapolca are highly recommended. We express an unreserved recommendation for our warm hosts and thank you for the pleasant stay. We had a very nice stay in Szatta in the cottage of Bence and Bori. It is very tasteful and stylish and decorated with views of beautiful details. You can see the respect for the surroundings, nature and the old house, nothing modernized is distorted, but furnished with selected pieces and supplemented with modern amenities. A great mix. It is indescribably quiet and relaxing. The communication worked great and we also enjoyed the sauna. All in all very nice :) Thanks!

This experience can only be experienced, not described. I recommend it to everyone. The description is perfect, and the other reviews speak for themselves. We were with two young children and I hope to go back as soon as possible.

We were satisfied at Vanessza´s place, it is located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The house was clean and had everything needed for the stay, as well the kitchen was well equipped. The garden is big, and our dog loved it. Very nice was chilling in the garden after a gulasch cooking-session while sitting at the fire-pit at night looking at the clear sky full of stars. We had a good time. Thanks again.

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

We and our dog enjoyed Lia's house and the wildly romantic garden. Everything necessary was there, it was very clean and Lia was always available. Thank you for that. If you want to enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place for you. If you love modern, sober accommodations, you're in the wrong place. Twice as perfect in good weather.☺️ would book it again

Great location, in a picturesque, peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Great for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. An apartment with unique decor, clean, tidy, all the essentials and amenities available on the property. The host is a very positive person. He showed a lot of commitment, openness, was very helpful, and you could count on him. We felt at home. I would recommend to anyone!

If we could rate it more than 5 stars, we would definitely do that. it's a great cozy apartment with well equipped kitchen and all necessary amenities. It's located few steps away from side entrance to Schonbrunn palace, on a quiet street. Also, Schonbrunn U-Bahn station is within 5 minutes walk. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and gave us home-like feeling. We would definitely recommend this place!

An outstanding property! Zoltan is an outstanding host; warm, approachable, highly responsive and super helpful. The apartment is a real gem. It’s imaginatively designed and extremely well appointed including luxury furniture. The air con works and works really well! In bedrooms and lounge/kitchen area. The type of place that really adds value to a holiday. The garden is really beautiful too. A product of care and love over a number of years. Highly recommended

Christian and his family were incredibly welcoming and friendly, offer a wide selection of delicious drinks m, and the facilities (including whirlpool and grill) were impeccable. The ideal spot for a getaway in the countryside.

We had a lovely stay at Roswitha's place, the house felt like home and the views were stunning. The kids loved Yakari and Xaver - the two alpakas! Hope to be back someday!

We stayed for one night. The house was as pictured, easy to get in, the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. The house is well equipped and we found everything we needed. I'd love to choose this place again.

Our stay at Sasa’s place was perfect . The location is super relaxing, with greenery all around. The house was really clean, and everything worked just as it should. Dorka's place in Balatonalmádi is a piece of paradise: small but cozy house placed in the midldle of the nature, with a beautiful view towards Lake Balaton. We had a great time, will definitely be back!

Great host with attention for details, which makes it a great stay

The house was completely as described in the description and photos. Just an awesome view from the terrace on the 1st and 2nd floors. Quiet, birds singing, well-maintained grounds - all you need for a good holiday. The house had absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you very much to the host, everything is very comfortable and beautiful, we had a very good rest! Definitely recommend it!
