Very beautiful house with an amazing view! Bonnie was super sweet and accommodating for anything you might need. I could tell they put a lot of intention into making it feel like a warm home and loved all of the books around the house. They gave great hiking suggestions for the surrounding area where we explored the geology of Oregon! Highly recommend!

Would highly recommend this place as ‘home’ for exploring this area. Worked perfectly for my son, my dog, and me to have a fun-filled long weekend. The host gave great instructions, the place was very cute and clean, it had great views of the area for sitting outside and enjoying a meal or sunset, and the hosts graciously stocked some snacks and waters and coffee to help us get started. I would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

We enjoyed our stay for several reasons, the home was immaculate and all the little thoughtful extras was impressive. Theresa is very responsive, and helpful, I had to change my dates and she quickly adjusted for us. The views sitting on the porch looking West allow for moments of pause. Thank you for making such a place.

We just stayed at Jennifer's Tim-Buck II and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our daughter's birthday (Jennifer even put out flowers and a special candle to help us celebrate!) and to visit the beautiful Painted Hills area. Jennifer was incredibly responsive, the location was beautiful, had every amenity anyone could hope to find, our only regret was that we weren't able to stay longer! Would highly recommend this location for anyone visiting the John Day / Painted Hills area of Oregon, you'll love it!

This was my second time at Erin's house and it was as great as the first time. The house has everything you need and lots of room. The yard is nice and well kept. We really liked the small town atmosphere of Mitchell and the area is beautiful and peaceful. All the information provided by Erin makes planning your trip really easy. I really recommend a trip to the John Day Fossil Bed National Monument and staying in Mitchell makes it easy to see all three of the units. Erin's house is a great place to stay!

It was a fun experience! We enjoyed the creek and the cabin. They were very considerate and thoughtful with items and how everything was explained and organized. We can’t wait to recommend to family and friends as well as come back!

It's a great place to stay. The town of Spray is just outside the front door, while from the great room or back deck you're right on the bank of the John Day River, with little sign of town and a view miles down the valley! I found the listing a little unclear on bedrooms. There's one generously large bedroom with its own bath. A second bedroom shares a bath with the den which has a pull-out sofa bed (fine for our grandkid, but not up to the standard of the other comfortable beds). We'll stay here again next time we're in eastern Oregon.

One of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen! The house is newly renovated and very comfortable. The kitchen was updated and great for cooking. The only downside was that there is no wifi and no central AC. The bedrooms got pretty hot at night so we ended up sleeping in the living room where the window unit was located.

Very well built, and organized (mise en place) tiny home. 10/10 stay. Stocked with all the amenities and toiletries needed. Great location, cool neighbors and right by the grocer.
