The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Our dream of a Romany style glamping pod has finally come true in the heart of Buchan, near the North Sea coast. We offer a large pod with a double bed and a small kitchen corner, a small pod with toilet, shower and hand washing basin, and a summer house converted as a small kitchen. We are located in the peaceful countryside, 5 minutes from Cruden Bay village and its beach & renowned golf course, 10 minutes from Peterhead, 15 minutes from Ellon and 40 minutes from Aberdeen.

The Den

The Den is a stunning stone built 1 bedroom cottage finished and furnished to the highest standard offering a very comfortable stay for our guests. Set in a quiet rural location and within easy reach of Aberdeenshire’s many attractions makes it the perfect location for your getaway. The open plan kitchen / diner has a fully fitted modern kitchen. A full size single bed can also be added to the large bedroom to accommodate 3 guests. There is outside seating and patio area.

Idyllic Bothy with log burning stove

An idyllic 200 year old Bothy located in the North-East of Scotland, some say similar to the cottage from the movie "The Holiday". Situated in a quiet and secluded area of Pitmedden, known as Old Seaton Village. We can provide shuttle services to nearby popular amenities - prior notice required. Dogs are welcome but are not allowed on the furniture. Dogs must be kept on a lead within the property grounds and surrounding area and must not be left unattended in the bothy.

The Beach House

Beach House Recently Refurbished, light, bright and brilliantly situated right on the Beach in the small village of Cruden Bay 26 miles North of Aberdeen. Bram Stroker himself holidayed in Cruden Bay back in the late 1800's and many believe that the Local Slains castle inspired Dracula. Also, right on the doorstep of this unique property is the World Famous Championship Golf Course featuring a par 70 Links Course.

The Bothy at Aikenshill

Located on our family farm. The Bothy at Aikenshill, is a modern, spacious cottage over looking our fields of highland cattle and The North Sea beyond. With ample parking, our 2 bedroom bothy is comfortable and well equipped with underfloor heating and an electric wood effect fire. The kitchen, dinning, lounge host all the requirements for a comfortable self catering stay.

Tern Cabin is a lovely wooden building with all amenities required for a short term holiday. Situated in the coastal village on Newburgh, Aberdeenshire only a short walk from the beach which teems with wildlife. People come from far and wide to see the seal colony, there's always something happening including the seasonal visitors from which the cabin is named.
