Our Beach House is close to the mouth of the Connecticut River surrounded by the salt marsh and at the end of our street you can see Old Saybrook lighthouses. Quaint local towns, two major shopping outlets and award winning casinos. Close to Gillette Castle, Mystic Seaport and the Coast Guard Academy. Lots of restaurants serving up local fare. Beautiful beaches, theater, music, and a variety of activities (kayaking, hiking, bird watching). Many museums in both directions on I-95 and I-91.

Beachside community, 3 blocks to Beach. Several restaurants and convenience stores within easy walking distance. Could be a great vacation for those without a car, 10 minutes to Old Saybrook Amtrak station, everything you need is nearby and / or easily walkable. The house was perfect for our family of 8. (6 adults and 2 children). We packed more than was necessary as everything one needs for the beach is provided! Amazing hosts! Very responsive, but we didn’t need to contact much as all instructions were clear. The place was spotless from the top to the bottom and everything in between! Lots of great memories made and we will be renting again next year! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at John's place in Old Lyme CT. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the property was beautiful. We enjoyed walking down by the water and watching the stunning sunsets from the living room. It's a wonderful place for a New England getaway.

Ali and Jim were some of the most helpful and informative hosts we have encountered. We were sent a series of messages leading up to our stay that answered any lingering questions one might have. This lead to an easy and carefree vacation.The cottage was thoughtfully designed with a clean and uncluttered esthetic that still felt welcoming and relaxed. The area, despite being densely populated, was quiet and peaceful. Each morning I took our dog on a stroll to the water and watched the mist clear away revealing beautiful blooms and bunnies bouncing about! Our dog felt right at home and greatly appreciated the fenced in yard with ample space to play. Something of note for folks with senior dogs, the stairs to the master bedroom weren't doable for our guy. That is something we had anticipated and wasn't a bother with two beautiful bedrooms downstairs. Ali and Jim's cottage was an all around great home base to explore Old Saybrook and it's surrounding towns!

I haven't done many AirBnb's before and I was a little leery at first because I have stayed at some that were "oversold." This one was spot on with the description and was everything my crew could have asked for. We needed space for a boat and Antone was very accommodating. The place is very comfortable and peaceful. Sadly, time flew by and now it is time to go. We are considering renting this place annually.
