About this space Enjoy this bright, spacious, and modern suite with panoramic views of mountains, including Kokanee glacier. Large windows that open to allow fresh mountain air in. The suite is furnished with a mid-century modern flare. Two bedrooms; one queen size bed and the other a double. Kitchen is fully stocked to accommodate all meals. We roast our own coffee beans with a micro roaster so guests will have the freshest coffee available. A medium or dark roast is available upon request

These three acres of forested property allow you to enjoy the quiet seclusion of nature, but remain only a thirteen minute drive to Nelson, and eight minutes from the Whitewater turn off (closer than Nelson). Return from a long day of skiing to warm up in the wood fired cast iron tub by the river or enjoy the six person electric hot tub with lounger and watch the Salmo river flow by. Uphill Sanctuary is a bright & cozy 300 sq. ft. basement guest suite in Nelson, BC. The Rail Trail trailhead is across the road, making it perfect for strolls, mountain biking, or dog walks. Downtown is a 15–20 minute walk away (though the return trip is a steep climb!) Your suite includes private parking, a comfortable living space & a kitchenette equipped with a toaster oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, & coffee grinder. After a day of exploring the Kootenays, unwind on the outdoor patio.
