We had a wonderful stay at Anna & Aron's cozy and beautiful lake view home. The location was peaceful and relaxing, just about 1.5 hours from Algonquin Park where we spent a lovely day canoeing and enjoying nature. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you for being such great hosts!

This is a great family getaway resort type accommodation The kayaks and hot tub and sauna are in great condition The house clean and very well stocked either all you need Make sure to rinse your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher Melissa was quick to respond with any questions We will hope to get Melissa’s place next year for our annual get together

Sanja is an incredible host! Very friendly and responds super fast. The cabin was perfectly cozy and included great amenities. The hot tub was large and very nice for a chilly night. Definitely recommend!

Thanks for a great stay. We had everything we needed in the house with wonderful access to a lovely sandy beach. We enjoyed the use of the paddle boards to explore the expansive shoreline. The location is near some walking trails in the woods which our dog really enjoyed. The cottage was adjacent a public beach which was busy on the weekends, however nice and siren on the weekdays to sit and watch the sunrise. We would certainly recommend and stay again.

My friends and I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. We were grateful to the hosts for providing us with so much to do, from the pool table to the hot tub, kayaks, fire pit and a deck with a bbq. One of the most memorable moments for me was watching the views from the dock at sunrise and sunset, it’s beautiful and I encourage anyone reading this to take the time to do the same. Very convenient location as well, 15 minute drive away from the local grocery store and anything else you need in town. I want to thank the host for a great stay and for allowing us to use your family cottage. If we’re in the area again we will definitely return!

We just got back from a lovely stay at the cottage on Spectacle Lake, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we truly had a great time. The rain kept us mostly indoors, but the cozy fireplace turned out to be a blessing we spent our time just relaxing, listening to the rain, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The cottage itself is tucked away in such a private, serene spot. Waking up to the sound of birds and looking out over the calm water from every window was incredibly calming. Everything was so clean and well cared for. Waking up to birdsong and calm water views from every window was such a treat. I was thrilled to finally spot a few beaver lodges in the Madawaska Valley — a small dream come true! The cottage was clean, the docks looked great, and having fresh drinking water available was such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. We didn’t get the clear skies we hoped for to stargaze, but that just gives us a reason to come back and we definitely will.

We had a great stay. Barry was very accommodating and responsive to any inquiries. Home is as pictured and very comfortable. We chose it for proximity to family. Highly recommend.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Had such a relaxing time at the river nest and I would 100% recommend booking this spot. Will plan to go back in the future for sure!! Our hosts were so kind and made us feel right at home! The master bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, and if you like sitting by the fire you'll love the cozzy vibes! We had a great stay at Kate’s place. It’s a very rustic house on Friaser Lake. Amazing views of the lake from the dining and living windows. Nice sized patio and deck out onto the lake. Beds were comfortable. Having a dishwasher is a plus on vacation. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it if you want an awesome lakeside experience. Fire pit by the water is magical at night. They were great communicators and the price was great. Thanks again!

We stayed over Easter weekend and enjoyed the peace and coziness of the cabin. It’s like a warm hug! We enjoyed some hiking at the nearby rapids and the provincial park close by. It’s a wonderful place to relax in any season and although there is another rentable cabin just in front, we felt secluded and had our own fire pit and bbq etc. the only thing we found to be missing was some shower products which would be a nice touch.

Was only there for a short time, but I need a spot last minute, and the responded quick. the place was very clean and nice, the surroundings beautiful for a nice walk. I would stay here again for a longer period. I will stay again, maybe even in the winter!

This chalet is perfect! Clean and well decorated. Great location by the river. Beautiful outdoor layout. Amenities of choice: kayaks, canoe, firewood. A peaceful and relaxing place. We will definitely go back! Thank you Olivia for your welcome and your excellent communication!

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

Beautiful cottage in a very quiet area. Lovely view from the cottage of the lake and surrounding trees. It was very quiet and a lovely place to de-stress We really enjoyed a hike to Eagles Nest and a dinner at the Red Neck Bistro. The staff were wonderful and friendly, food was delicious! We will hopefully be back next year

We had an amazing weekend celebrating my dad's 70th birthday at this beautiful, secluded property! Hershel was super friendly and communicative from booking through check-out, even giving us great local recommendations when we arrived early. The place was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—towels, linens, kitchen and BBQ supplies, toiletries, WiFi, and even a TV (though we didn’t need it!). We loved the private river for fishing, the sauna, fire pit, trails, and the stunning views. The check-in guide and house manual were clear and helpful, making everything easy to navigate, and the check-out process was stress-free. A welcome bottle of wine was also such a thoughtful touch! There was so much to do in and around the property, and though we drove three hours to get there, we’d do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat surrounded by nature. Thank you Hershel and Tiferet for an unforgettable getaway!

Very responsive host , friendly and cooperative. Was there for New years and it was amazing ! Few things were missing at check in , communicated and was able to bring them next morning !

I will highly recommend this place. The house was absolutely amazing, infact better than the listed photos. It was very clean and had all the things you would need. Jim had taken care of every small detail, and went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant stay - from giving us additional utilities to accommodating our request for a late checkout. He was also very responsive and courteous. We had a lovely time here and would definitely be coming back again. Special mention for the neighbors, who were very nice and friendly. Our kids ended up spending more time playing in the neighbor's backyard :) Thank you Jim for hosting us!

Beautiful family stay! We brought two toddlers who loved hanging out on the dock, hanging out on the swing and eating on the picnic table on nice days. The DVD collection was awesome as well! No issue with hot spotting for anything else. One thing to note is the (gorgeous) glass table and winding staircase require a bit of extra supervision with young ones. Total paradise for young families or small groups :)

It’s always more comfortable staying in an Airbnb vs a hotel and Yvonne and Rob’s place was the most comfortable my family has ever been. For the 5 of us plus dog, a 2 night stay in a desirable location, we just wish we could have stayed longer. All the amenities you can think of and then some - including items for the beach which was right out front ! When AirBnB indicated it was a rare find - it really was a rare find and I suggest not waiting to book when you find it available. We will be back !

What a great place for family time! The interior design is warm, inviting, and full of hygge — every nook feels thoughtfully curated for comfort and coziness. There are so many different spaces to enjoy, whether you're curled up with a book indoors or out exploring. Our family loved the kayaks and the outdoor space just as much as the peaceful, beautifully designed interiors. A perfect mix of relaxation and adventure! Thank you to the hosts !
