The Chalfonte Hotel is such a cool place! If you’re intrigued with history and character, this is an experience for you. Only a 5 min walk from the beach and lots of great restaurants and things to do in the area. This was my first time in Cape May, it will certainly not be my last.

Ruslan and Staff were terrific! Accommodating, great communication. The bed was comfortable, room presented exactly as described, mini freezer/fridge came in handy. Fantastic location - center of action short walk to local attractions. Varsity Inn, a staple if OC right around the corner - bonus!! If another need arises would definitely stay again! It is always a pleasure to stay in the beautiful Chalfonte Hotel! Charming historic Victorian surroundings and a beautiful relaxing veranda three blocks from Cape May's beaches. The front desk is always helpful and friendly, and the King Edward bar is always full of interesting conversations and delicious drinks. We have been coming to Cape May for 10 years and have stayed in the Chalfonte for three, I don't see myself staying anywhere else!

I enjoyed my stay in the little corner room at the Chalfonte. I loved reading and people-watching on the porch. It's a great location, just a few blocks from the beach and the main shopping area. I parked my car a few blocks away and rented a bicycle to get around town. The bathroom was a bit further down the hall than I expected, but it was always clean and available.

Great spot! loved the communal feel and accessibility to the beach. Room was tidy and exactly what I needed. Great experience all around!

Great place to stay and relax, friendly neighborhood, and some bars close by for comfort.

Had a great week at the Brooklyn beach club will be looking to book again next summer!

We were very satisfied with our stay . The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The beach is a short walking distance . I already booked another stay at the lotus inn for August .

Meghan, my 2 friends (from grade school) and I enjoyed our 4 days in Avalon. Your location which is one block from the beach is very convenient. We also had no issues with parking. We appreciate your attention to detail and making your condo very comfortable for the 3 of us. The binder with all the pertinent information was very helpful and the checkin process was easy. Very pretty , very quiet which is great, no troubles except there were a few steps that were wobbly on the stair case up which was a little scary because you tend to be up and down steps a lot. Very very clean . Cute ice cream place close by

PLACE WAS NICE AND STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. EASY ACCESS TO GRILLS AND ONLY ABOUT 2 BLOCKS FROM BEACH AND ABOUT 25-35 MINUTE WALK TO END OF BOARD WALK

Leanne was an amazing host! She always responded timely and was very helpful in answering my questions. The place itself was lovely and perfect for a weekend beach getaway!! I would definitely stay here again and so would my guests!

Nice to stay at and peaceful and the beds are comfortable and does not have bed bugs !!

My friends and I stayed at Edwin's place for the country music fest. The room was exactly as described and was very clean. It was within walking distance of the boardwalk and beach. Safe neighborhood, we had to park down the street as we had more than one car but there was free street parking less than a block away. Pool was clean and there are 4 grills along with picnic tables. We had a great stay and look forward to booking again!

Had a good time staying at the Coastal Sands Inn. Host was friendly and the rooms were as pictured.

Great place to stay! It was within walking distance to mostly everything we needed during our long weekend. Owner was also very responsive to any inquiries prior to check-in.
