House holiday rentals in Wilmington

This is a definite must stay if you’re coming to Philly with a large family! The place is simply amazing home and is modern, spacious and pristine in nature! It’s is wonderfully decorated and could easily be a show home! It is exactly as advertised and much more! The jacuzzi and outdoor patio and bbq are a really nice touch, and well as the exercise room and equipment on the second floor! Katerina is a gracious and wonderful host! She responded to any inquiries in a timely and helpful manner! We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return! Katerina many thanks for hosting us - you have an amazing place and we hope to return on a few months! Take care and thanks tons for everything!!

Beautiful home and very clean!! Fully stocked kitchen, nice linens and beds. Convenient to all attractions and Abigail is very accommodating and kind! Horses came to greet us most times in early morning and evenings which was a nice treat. Also can see the Amish horse and buggies from the house. This awesome home is located on a main highway so if a light sleeper make sure to bring a sound machine or fan. We did fine and would book with Abigail again!

This place was a wonderful gem! Right away you walk in and just feel so at peace. The hosts have done an amazing job at making the home welcoming, useable, and beautiful. They obviously can't control the birds but man were they just so nice to listen to all day. just wanted to sit on the back porch all day and listen to nature. The pool and hot tub were very clean. Instructions for various things in the the house were clear. Everything felt spotless! Anytime we had a question they were super quick to respond. We had the pleasure to meet them both at different times and are so thankful we did. They were so lovely and friendly. We appreciated their recommendations for the area as well. We stayed for two nights but definitely wish it was longer. Our kids (10 & 12) want us to go back next year! We stayed here from Canada as we came to attend the Sights and Sound theater. Definitely would recommend to others. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Our Honey Brook stay was brief but worth it. The house, yard, and surrounding town was beautiful. Chris and Claudia early on were very helpful with recommendations. When it was getting to be close to the time of our vaca their instructions were clear and well timed. I look forward to staying here again, hopefully for longer next time.

My family and I spent Memorial Day weekend in this beautiful home. It was very spacious and very clean. It had every amenity you could possibly want. It had a beautiful family room area and plenty of seating for everyone. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The pool was absolutely beautiful, but too cold for us to use at this time. The yard was completely fenced and very private. We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We hope to stay again soon!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay! Tom went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding weekend. The space was beautifully prepared, and you could tell a lot of care and attention to detail went into every aspect. He was extremely accommodating, especially when changes were needed during the planning process he handled everything with such ease and professionalism. Throughout our stay, Tom was kind, attentive, and made us feel completely taken care of. It made such a difference during such a special time in our lives. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a thoughtful and stress-free experience!

Quiet place with excellent internet for working at home. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Good shower pressure. Great neighborhood for walking and safe to be in. Brought our two dogs. Only drawback is I felt we were either restricting her dogs being outside by being there with our own dogs. Would stay again but maybe without our pets.

We loved our stay at Packet Alley. This is probably one of the best rentals I have ever stayed at and I would not hesitate to return. The house and grounds were even better than pictured and we enjoyed peace and quiet on the screened in porch overlooking the river. The downstairs of the house felt larger than the pictures so we had plenty of space and lots of natural light. The kitchen was fantastic and the house had everything we needed. Everything in town was walkable from the pier to the historic area. Definitely use the gift card to The Mercury Cafe we ate there twice and the food and drinks were fantastic. We met the owners there and they were all friendly, welcoming, lovely people.

Dennis place felt like home! House was equipped with everything you need, love the extra touch of “He’s the Dj, I’m the Rapper” album(WP). Great places to eat near home and walking distance. El Toro Mexican Grill & Cantina had the best fish tacos! Dennis is easy to communicate with and will stay at his home again.

We had a good stay overall while visiting for an electrical engineering graduation at the University of Delaware. The place was clean, comfortable, and served our needs during the trip. The only downside was the lack of central AC — the mini split were helpful but a little bit confusing, Other than that, everything went smoothly and we appreciated the hospitality! Thank you. Alicia is a an absolutely wonderful host! When I needed a last minute change of location and over a holiday she was extremely helpful in accommodating me last minute and made what could have been a horrible trip into a wonderful visit with family. I can’t say enough good things. House was clean, comfortable and very quiet and easy to commute into town. Would definitely recommend!

Michael’s place was exactly as described. Easy to find everything you needed as well as leaving food and beverages very unexpected but very pleased. Would not hesitate to stay here again very peaceful location with access to everything you need around you

We had a wonderful week-long stay at 107 Hawthorne Court West in Hockessin. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—if not better. Tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, it offered the perfect retreat while still being conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and beautiful walking trails. The space was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, cozy beds, and fast Wi-Fi. We appreciated the small touches like extra blankets, clear instructions, and a smooth check-in/check-out process. The backyard was an added bonus—perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. The host was responsive, helpful, and made sure we felt at home. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Hockessin or Wilmington area, and we’d gladly stay again.

Very clean and modern. Spacious and comfortable. Easy to use key pad to allow flexible checkin. Private off-street parking directly at front door. High speed WiFi. Comfortable bedding.

We stayed at Elmer’s place for only one night. But it was definitely worth it and will be coming back for a longer period of time next time. We haven’t had the chance to use the firepit since it was raining. However, all the other amenities were well-kept and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Elmer is very nice and responsive host. We visited one of the restaurants she recommended (Agapē), everything was so delicious. I’d definitely recommend this place for a getaway.

My wife and I had the best experience at this guest house. Lisa is an amazing host. Lisa blessed us with fresh eggs in the fridge from the farm. Lisa also had fresh milk, yogurts, apple cider, granola, and homemade cakes for us. The guest house and the whole property will take you back in time. The guest house was squeaky clean from top to bottom and had the perfect amenities for out stay. If you are on the fence between renting this property or another property in the area, rent this property for your vacation. You will not be disappointed!!

We visit Delaware City every year, but don’t usually stay right in town. It was great to have a spot so close to the family we visit this year! We traveled with our 3 kids(ages 6, 4, 2) and the space met our needs. The master bedroom is downstairs, attached to the only bathroom. The bed was comfortable, although softer than we prefer. The 2 other bedrooms are upstairs - These beds were much firmer. We loved that the house had a fenced backyard for the kids to run around in. The kitchen had a Keurig machine and a nice selection of k-cups. We used the Roku TV without any difficulty. Each room had an AC unit that worked well. Mu only complaint would be that the lighting was low in some rooms, though the weather was cloudy during our stay so it would have been better with some sunshine through the windows.

We had a wonderful stay at Matt's. The tiny house was clean and beautiful. They were quick to answer any questions. It was quiet and was a nice place to relax. We probably should have researched the area more, as a lot of the places we came to visit were closed either permanently, or on Mondays and Tuesdays, which were the main days of our trip. There is an amazing bakery we discovered though, Daisy's Cakes, which we visited daily.

What a perfect Airbnb! While traveling with family we felt right at home. The space was warm and inviting. It was baby and pet friendly. The location was also perfect and peaceful with grocery stores and plenty food options around. Our host were very responsive and attentive! I would definitely recommend.

Our stay in the Charming Cape was a pleasant one. It was a clean, comfortable home that you could relax in and have family time. We enjoyed eating outside in the huge backyard at the patio table as a family. Everything we needed was provided for us as the house was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. We chose this house due to its close proximity to Philadelphia for history and for Delaware beaches. There were restaurants and stores nearby, so we didn't have to drive too far for anything.

We stayed this past weekend and were very happy with our stay. The house was clean, many amenities, the host gave detailed instructions. The check-in and out process was very easy. We were able to request a later checkout which was so helpful for our travel plans. The home was very cozy and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!
