This air-conditioned mini-sized wooden cabana on stilts is attached on one side to another "One World" rental unit. It has its own entrance and a pretty outside sitting area, complete with hammock. “This was a great stay—spacious, well laid out, and equipped with excellent A/C, a nice shower, and a fully functional kitchen. Although the hosts weren’t on-site, caretakers were available and shared their contact info. The location is just a short drive from Placencia and close to some fantastic restaurants. One thing to note: in Belize, house numbers aren’t commonly used, so directions are usually based on landmarks, which can make finding places a bit tricky.”

The spot was extremely cute and clean inside and outside. It's about a 20-25 minute walk from the main part of Hopkins Village. With a bike, which was provided (there were several), you can get there pretty easily during the day time. Other nice amenities included a 5 gallon jug of bottled water, an on-site washing machine, and some clothes lines. Wendy also proactively reached out before and during my stay to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. All and all, it was great stay and would book again.

What a great place. CLEAN! I walked in and was so impressed with how clean it is that I booked the room again right then and there for the next weekend! It is located an easy and pleasant walk from the restaurants, beach and bars. The pool was so nice to have right there -- a quick dip in the mornings, another after getting back from whatever I was doing for the day, and another dip before bed. Chris supplied a towel for the pool, as well as nice cushions for the lounge chairs outside. Have I mentioned how clean the place is? Yes, I have, but it's worth noting again. Chris was super helpful with lining up transportation back to the airport. I was traveling alone (female, 57 years old) and felt perfectly safe at The Cashew Cabins. Would I stay there again? Absolutely!

We had a great family stay! Very responsive team and great amenities - View is spectacular and super clean. We loved Archie (the local dog team member) as well!!! We utilized the local chef service and they also stocked the fridge with items requested for us for our arrival. Would stay again!

White Orchid Villa Belize

The White Orchid Villa is a lovely house in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Sittee River. It's surrounded by large trees that were filled abundant bird life that was a treat to listen to while sitting in the hammock in the screened in porch. Due to its location on the river there are lots of mosquitoes so bug spray is a must, which also made the screened in porch that much nicer. There is a canoe available to go explore the river and the lovely Town of Hopkins is a short drive away. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of spices and everything you would need to prepare meals. The on-site caretakers Christina and Domingo were friendly and welcoming. Rupa, the owner was very helpful with suggestions and local contacts for tour guides. She also quickly responded to any questions we had. To top it off, there were friendly dogs with two adorable puppies that totally charmed my daughters. We would definitely come back!
