Named after the Gububurras (Kookaburras) that share the property with us, it's only ten minutes walk to the Mount Macedon village for coffee or a short drive to find wineries, village markets and forest walking trails. Suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and is pet friendly. Situated in a small hamlet, the views are out to the Ranges and Hanging Rock. Roosters crow in the mornings, and sheep graze just over the fence. Oil heater and electric blankets keep things snug and cozy through winter.

All the quiet and privacy of a country cottage only two minutes' stroll to the V-Line railway station, five minutes more to the cafes, pubs, regular markets and shops of Woodend village and a network of gorgeous nature walks.
