I'm a professional chef and food studies educator researching Singapore's hawker centres as a Fulbright Scholar at the National University of Singapore.
Previously, I worked in Michelin-starred kitchens across the U.S. and ran an award-winning nonprofit food think tank. I hold a Master of Education from Harvard University and will soon be pursuing a PhD in Social Policy.
I'm also a James Beard Awards-nominated food writer and the author of the Avatar: The Last Airbender Official Cookbook.
