Guest House Kokoro is located one block from Miyajima's Machiya-dori Street. 　When you pass through the warm curtain at the entrance, you are guided to the courtyard by stepping stones, with bamboo walls reminiscent of a Kyoto row house restaurant. The courtyard is also beautifully balanced with white marble and gravel, contributing to the calm atmosphere. There are glass doors in the living room that allow you to see the courtyard. 　The building is only for guests to stay in through the garden, so there is no need to worry about anyone. From the outside, it is an ordinary private house, but when you step inside, it has a different atmosphere, which is part of the charm of the inn. I heard that the previous owner has always loved gardening and had a wide range of hobbies. However, as I mentioned at the beginning, I didn't intend to start an inn at first, so there is no bath facility (there is a shower). However, you can use the nearby inns as an outdoor bath. The first floor is a living room, and the second floor is a two-room Japanese-style bedroom, and up to 6 people can stay comfortably. 　In the courtyard, there is a white stone character "kokoro" (heart) inscribed in the gravel. It was made by the gardener a long time ago for fun, and it is the origin of the name of the inn. He said he wants to welcome people with all his heart and help them relax and enjoy their stay.

Our inn is located on the road leading to the historic Yuei Shrine, which conveys important intangible folk cultural properties and Sagimasu, and the tourist attraction in Inari Shrine. As a hostel-style accommodation where you can easily stay, it has a private room with three rooms, as well as a large common space such as a dining room, living room, and kitchen, so please take your time while looking at the Tsuwano River and the mountains. Room1 is a sunny room on the second floor with 1 single bed. We recommend you to stay alone, but up to 2 members can stay with futon on the floor. We also offer an experience to prepare Japanese breakfast with the host. On-site parking costs 1,000 yen/night. And a bicycle is available with 1,000 yen/day.

This is a renovated old house that is over 100 years old. The owner and his wife live here. A local breakfast is included. My husband is Taiwanese and speaks Taiwanese Chinese and Taiwanese. I (wife) am Japanese and can speak Japanese and a little English.
