Holiday rentals with lake access in Yates County

Felt like "grandmas house". Wonderful seating for gathering spaces inside and outside with family. Beautiful morning front porch to watch the horse and buggies drive by while sipping coffee. Kitchen had all we needed which is always important! Quiet neighborhood, friendly corner market to walk to. And we even got to appreciate an evening fire at the pit. Marie was always responsive when I had a question. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house was absolutely beautiful with an even more beautiful view, the kayaks and paddle boards were easily accessible and were a ton of fun on the lake, Mary was a great host. We had some weather related incidents and she responded within minutes. The only negative thing I could say is, we should’ve booked it for longer, we didn’t want to leave. It was very fun weekend!

A beautiful and peaceful home on the east side of the bluff. The home was updated and easily accommodated 4 adults 3 children and 2 dogs. Wrens nest had a beautiful view of the lake and dock access to the lake. George was very responsive anytime I had a question and accommodated a few things that I had asked for. It was a great experience for my family and I and will definitely be back in the future.

We loved our stay at Blackbird Cottage. It felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. It is a great space to kick back and relax. My wife was very excited to find a pamphlet in their suggestion binder for a local farm that provided us a fun day of horseback riding and pumpkin picking with donkeys. Overall, we had a great time and would return to the cottage.

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend away at the Funky Penn Yan Cottage. Came into town to celebrate a family wedding and my husband’s birthday. Checked out a lot of the local establishments that Brennan recommended. Also enjoyed the early morning and late evening walks with our pup around the peaceful neighborhood. Ran into a lot of friendly locals on our walks and loved having the lake being steps away.

This rental home is top shelf. It is exceptionally clean, neat and tidy, and while decorated tastefully, there is no clutter which might otherwise get damaged or interfere with people there temporarily. New carpeting (at least it looked new to us) with an exceptionally thick pad underneath. Comfortable furniture throughout this great home makes having breakfast or reading your favorite book a pleasure. Nice weather, move out onto the fantastic deck and have a seat at the outdoor table, or relax in one of the many chairs our hosts have purchased for comfort and convenience. Nice morning? Take your coffee out to the dock and plant yourself in a chair out on the end and enjoy God's creation. This home has a sturdy new dock with several places to tie up a boat. The picture of the dock in the listing shows a boat hoist, but that was not there during our visit and made tying up our pontoon boat great with the collapsable cleats on the dock. Way more to say, but no room to express it

I used to live in Hammondsport but now am in TX. I have stayed in many Keuka lake houses over the years and this is my favorite so far. Spacious, beautiful views, relaxing, and wonderful! Thanks for a great stay at my favorite lake!

There not enough words to describe how amazing this home was! First, it’s very rare to find a property on Keuka with no steps and with having our grandparents there it’s a must. They were able to walk from the car to the lake without taking one step! Next, the home EXCEEDED my expectations. Spotless, endless amenities (linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryer, trash bags, tp, paper towels, first aid kit), great water toys, comfy beds, the list goes on and on. Finally, the owners were VERY responsive and accommodating. My in laws were able to come last minute for a day and they responded quickly and gladly welcomed them. There was a power outage during a bad storm one evening and they kept me updated on power restoration. The next day the outage had caused the tv to log out and we ran out of propane and they were there within 10 minutes of my message fixing both issues! What amazing hosts! We will be back!

Loved the space and the location. Walked into town for dinner and breakfast. Really comfy bed.s and so quiet. Hammondsport is cute and quaint. They roll up the sidewalks at night when it's dark (except a few inns/pubs) but it still has its own charm. Will definitely return.

This place was super clean and quiet area just off the lake. It was a bit further from things than we originally realized. It was our first time in the Finger Lakes and everything is a bit of a drive. Other than that, this place was very clean and homey.

We had a great weekend getaway in downtown Geneva. Jason and Luisa were perfect hosts and their place was conveniently located close to the lake, restaurants and shops. It was easy to get to and very comfortable, clean and will equipped for our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Seth’s place was a 1000% worth it. It landed up being one of the best things in our trip and the place was so amazing decorated. Seth and Annie were super responsive and were very warm! I loved all the recommendations Seth gave us and we actually listened to his recommendations and visited all the cafes and hikes. I definitely know that I’m going back at Seth’s and Annie’s place in the winter! ❤️

We had a great stay in Geneva, right on the water. We stayed in the cottage property and luckily for most of our stay, there was no other guests in the main house. With that, we felt more comfortable using the shared deck and game room. The cottage was perfect for our stay, very local to downtown Geneva easy to get to other wineries, breweries, hikes along Seneca Lake. Although it rained most of our trip, so we didn't get to use the kayaks, but we were able to enjoy a night outside with the firepit by the water (make sure to bring your own wood / lighter to get this started!) The game room was also super fun and a nice feature! Overall, we had a great stay and no complaints! Would recommend for a couple looking for a nice stay on the water.

Beautiful location right on Cayuga Lake. Peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and provided a lot of information on the local area. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We had a great stay here! David was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The place was beautiful and very well taken care of. The lake front location was beautiful! The photos don't do it justice. We all really enoyed sitting on the porch and the dock enjoying the spectacular views! The home was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Hope to go back again!

Durga was so welcoming and helpful! She secured a parking pass for the NY State Parks at her local library, so we were able to park at the parks free of charge! She was always available for recommendations!

This lake house was the perfect weekend getaway for our group! The whole house was clean, and had beautiful views everywhere you went. Our weather during our weekend was a bit rainy but having the sauna and all of the games provided still allowed us to have an amazing time! We will absolutely book this house in the future :)

Wow - what a fantastic lakeside retreat! There must be 6 different places to sit/gather outside - the fire table was especially nice for sipping some Riesling on a chilly night. Well equipped kitchen, and lots of amenities (including kayaks if so inclined). Very quiet surroundings (we were there during the week-end, too), but you have to watch out for the seagulls - they like to hang out on the deck. Great location is within 1/2 hour of many excellent wineries and restaurants. Would definitely return here the next time we are in FLX!

Adrienne was a great. Very responsive, and helpful with whatever questions you have. The view was gorgeous and loved the dock with table area. Great place to hang out while the kids swim and play in water. Also looked beautiful lit up at night with the lights. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful home right on the lake. The weather was a bit cold and rainy while we were there so we didn't use the outside space as much as planned, but the spacious living room and dining room were perfect for our 8-person group plus a 7 month old! Tons of space to spread out, play games, read, and play with baby. There were mega blocks, a play mat, a high chair, a changing table, a crib, and everything we could need for our baby. The hot tub was also fantastic for the colder days. We used the firepit as well and there were plenty of Adirondack chairs for our group our there. Two of our cars are electric, so the charger was a big plus! This is a wonderful find and we would love to book again later in the summer! Perfect for the whole family. We cooked a few time while here, and the kitchen had the basics like toaster, cooking utensils, pans, knives, etc. Lots of cups and glasses for making drinks, too.

The from the house was wonderful. Everything inside was clean and it was a very nice house to spend the weekend. There was one maintenance issue that was handled really before there was an issue. Everything was communicated clearly and handled very professionally. We really enjoyed our girls trip weekend here and would highly recommend this house to others.
