They prepared a lukewarm pool at the time of arrival, so I was able to enjoy the water with the children right away. Especially on the second day, even though the wind was chilly, I was able to have a good time until late at night thanks to the warm water. Thanks to this thoughtful consideration, I enjoyed the water play without feeling cold at all. The kids' favorite was the air bouncer! I jumped around in a wide space and the laughter did not leave. Thanks to that, both the children and we had a really satisfying time. There was an e-mart 15 minutes away from the accommodation, so it was very convenient to shop. Thanks to that, I was able to easily purchase the necessary items, and in the evening, I was able to enjoy a delicious barbecue party with the Weber grill and charcoal prepared by the host. It was really delicious because I baked it with fresh ingredients! It was also nice to be able to keep the drink cool and drink it, thanks to the bucket containing the ice pack. These small considerations made for a more comfortable and enjoyable stay. If I have a chance next time, this is the place I would definitely want to visit again. It was a beautiful and nice accommodation. If I visit Udo, it was an accommodation I wanted to go back to. The view from the window was nice, and it was nice to take a walk nearby. But I was surprised that people could pass by the window. The downside was that the window blinds didn't have a blackout function, so I couldn't sleep well in the morning. It would be better if it was installed as a blackout. And it was difficult to know how to lock the door at first, so it would be better to receive guidance on this part from the beginning.

It was so nice to be able to order abalone porridge for breakfast. It was very quiet around, so I was able to sleep comfortably.

It's really clean and comfortable like home because it's managed by the host. I'm also very satisfied that I can use a private accommodation at this price. If you ask the host, he'll tell you about good nearby trekking courses. He also tells you where you can buy good meat. (The boss is serious about meat..) It's best to buy vegetables or alcohol at a nearby Hanaro Mart and barbecue at the accommodation. It's all yards near the house, so it's good to sit and rest while telling the kids to play. This is a place where you'll want to live for a month.

It was a family trip, but it was an accommodation that would remain a good memory of me and my mom's first trip to Jeju Island. It was a tight travel plan, so my legs hurt and tired when I went out, but it was nice to be able to rest well because it was a quiet natural environment. I was so sorry that I checked in late, but the host explained well, and if I had any questions, he replied right away if I left a message, and I was grateful. It was the best emotional accommodation with my dog:) It was secluded, beautiful, peaceful, and I could feel the Jeju feeling, and the lawn in the yard was so pretty. The loft attic was so nice to read books and drink coffee.

I rented it for a family gathering, and the surrounding environment was quiet and the neighborhood environment was so nice. 👍 It was so nice to get immediate answers to my questions and communicate. I want to stay again next time. ☺️

i can’t say enough about this place ~ a true hidden gem, especially for those travelers looking for a more nature-filled, peaceful, traditional korean village experience. nestled halfway up one of the mountains in jirisan, katherine’s hanoak house and guest house is near a pristine mountain-fed stream and two Buddhist temples within walking distance. the beautiful villages of hwagae, gurye, and namwon are minutes away by car as well as many hiking trails, hot springs, sauna, and three of the best Buddhist temples (and one of the best buddhist hermitages) in the country. katherine is also an amazing, personable and knowledgeable host with plenty of ideas and suggestions of things to do or events and festivals to attend. a native english speaker and fluent in korean is an added bonus. her guest house is lovingly and artistically furnished and super cozy. looking forward to many future visits…

I had a really good time with the kind host, the lovely puppy Yoo, the warm pool, and the comfortable and evenly-cooking gas grill. There were two TVs with YouTube and Netflix, and even a karaoke machine, so there was no time to get bored. The kids are asking to come again. I'll see you again in the season when the valley water flows!

It was nice that the location was close to Hyeopjae and Geumneung. It was just far enough from the crowded place, so it was quiet and peaceful. The host was very friendly and prepared all the spaces of the accommodation beautifully and cleanly. For those who have time, we also recommend the small sauna in the accommodation. After sweating and taking in the cool evening breeze, I felt as if my body and mind were becoming lighter. I recommend it to everyone looking for a break in Jeju.

The uphill path is a little steep, but Other than that, I liked it so much. If I come again next time, I want to revisit.

I rested comfortably with my parents. The owner was very kind and took care of me meticulously, so I had a good time.😊 It was small, but it had everything, so it wasn't uncomfortable. There are many restaurants nearby, so I remember eating well and playing well!! It's a great place to heal for a few days!!

We had an amazing stay! The house is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and have all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—close to public transport, great restaurants. The host is kind, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a cozy and stylish place to stay in Seoul, I highly recommend this place!

The apartment is clean and compact, with a great location — quiet and peaceful, yet very close to the main areas of Hongdae. Be aware that the kitchen and bathroom are separate from the main living space and require stepping outside to access, which might be less convenient for families or longer stays. There were also some mosquitoes during our visit.

Jiae's airbnb is perfect for a family like us (baby and 3 yo, plus my family in laws). Accommodating and good service and amenities like foldable bed and baby bedding, detergents and bottle sanitizer, by providing daily cleaning, allow us to check in slightly earlier, even offering laundry service out of goodwill as there is no washing machine since we have kids. I also rushed out of the house in the morning to go to the airport but left my phone in the bedroom, the host is very responsive when I managed to contact him and rushed to airport to pass me. Appreciate the hospitality and will definitely book their lodging again if ever we go jeju again.

Above all, the host welcomed and took care of me like I was his own grandson, so I was able to stay really comfortably. In the morning, they gave me strawberry juice and eggs to feed my child, so I ate so deliciously. ^^ There are many things to do in the vinyl house, so my 5-year-old son had fun, and the house condition was clean, so I was completely satisfied! The room isn't spacious, but it wasn't insufficient for a family of three, and I think it'll be okay for a family of four. We didn't use it separately, but the barbecue zone and swimming zone were also clean and pretty. ~ It's a place I want to come back to. ^^ Thank you.

I revisited in 2 years :-) Clean accommodation, comfortable bedding, suitable accommodation location, quiet and beautiful Bukchon Village! There's nothing to regret. And thanks to the owner, who was still kind, it was an even more pleasant trip. It was raining, but he carried all my luggage, and he was kind enough to check the precautions and any inconveniences in person. It was nice to be able to communicate right away when I contacted him with any inquiries. If you're looking for a place to stay with your dog, I highly recommend it :-)
