Dongchonjae, built in 1939, It has been officially certified as a traditional hanok by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organization. Dongchonjae is a retired couple who opened their home. It has been in operation since October 2020. Guests have 4 rooms, a living room (Daecheongmaru), a kitchen, 1 internal shower room and 1 external shower room, You can use spaces such as the numaru and the yard. Located in the 2nd view of Bukchon, this hanok yard is filled with old trees from Changdeokgung Palace. It is located in a quiet place where you can hear the chirping of birds. There is no inconvenience at all to stay. Bukchon Hanok Village, Insa-dong, Ikseon-dong, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art are all within a 10-minute walk.
