It is located about an hour's drive from Bergen city center. In the immediate vicinity you will find many great hiking areas, with Kvistefjellet in the immediate vicinity. It is a short distance to Kviste - and Bogakaien, with opportunities to rent a berth. Bognestraumen is well known for its good fishing conditions. We also have BUA in the city center, where you can rent leisure equipment and canoe.

Welcome to a real log house, which is built after many hundred year old building desks in Norway. The house has modern facilities on a flat. You will have lovely bed linen, lots of pillows and lots of soft towels. The walls are logs and all floors are solid wood pine floor with heating cables. You can park several cars for free on the property and in the garage and you will be able to enjoy lovely views of the great nature. Bergen is only 25 minutes away. There are 5 beds in the house and 2 mattresses. An experience!

Seafront retreat - pier, boatrental & fishing camp

You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

Stay in a warm and sheltered garden room – a small oasis in green surroundings on beautiful Grimseid. The garden studio is secluded in our lush garden with its own entrance and private terrace. Here you wake up to birdsong, enjoy your morning coffee with a view of the sea, and relax in tranquil surroundings. This unique garden studio was designed by the TV2 program Tid for hjem in 2017, and combines Norwegian design, comfort, and nature at its very best.

Welcome in my hut by the lake :-) Here you can enjoy the peace of nature, go fishing, hiking, sit on the terasse or simply read a book. Bergen is 30 min drive by car, bus availabe 1 km walk from the house. I speak English, German and Norwegian.
