The place is awesome and backup electricity and water makes this a perfect place. Peddie is always available to attend to any eventualities. Highly recommended.

Safe to say that this place is an absolute gem of place to stay and has made it to the top of my list of homes to stay in connemara. From the comfortable beds with heated blankets and a fireplace in the main bedroom, the luxurious wood-fired outdoor hot tub, and heated floors in the bathrooms (game changer), and large entertaining area, this place is well worth the money. The house is mere steps from the middle dam where there are beautiful hikes around the dam, 2 x fly fishing licenses that come included (just bring own rods) and 2 boats. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Chipo the caretaker was very helpful, cleaning up, making fires indoors and outdoors for the hot tub every day, she made our stay very easy. We will bring friends or family next time for sure!

The beds were very comfortable and the shower worked well. It was nice to have a kitchen to cook in. The kitchen was well equipped and even had spices available to use. There is a washer in the kitchen. The yard is lovely and the neighborhood was very quiet. The house is super clean. We enjoyed our stay.

A quiet and stylish space in a good location with nice thoughtful touches, such as providing freash lavender flowers in a vase. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are in Harare for business or travel.

Richard is a great, responsive host who has a wonderful gem of a cottage in the Nyanga area. His on site host, Farai is so knowledgeable about the area and made sure I had everything I needed. I cannot recommend the Cedar Peak Cottage enough! If you are planning to visit Zimbabwe’s highland region, this is the perfect location to explore from.

The place was beautiful quiet and serene. The onsite host Tonde was very helpful and an excellent communicator. He made our stay pleasurable. Will definitely book again.

Loved relaxing at this place for a few days - so much to watch from the khonde, including locals going about their day to day life and all the birds who are at home there. Staff were great, very helpful and discreet. Power on and off, but it’s a national issue. Take ear plugs if you enjoy silence, the place is in the heart of the village. Book a boat trip to the island. Not cheap but so worth it. Recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Msasa Views Cottage, and it was an experience worth sharing. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning natural scenery was so captivating we couldn’t ask for more.The cottage itself is cozy, well-maintained, and perfectly blends with the surrounding environment, offering a serene retreat from everyday life. The views were simply breathtaking, with lush greenery and the calming sounds of nature making it the ideal place to unwind. Whether it was enjoying a quiet morning on the porch or taking in the evening sunsets, every moment felt like a small escape into tranquility. There’s even a kids play area with swings and a volleyball court. The hosts Abigail and Owen were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We even got free cooked corn picked fresh from their field. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with a natural touch,fast internet and uninterrupted power,I highly recommend Msasa Views Cottage

This is a lovely and cosy place to stay with constant water supply, solar power and Wi-Fi. I would definitely recommend for any one going to Harare for short or long stay.

Felt like home. No words for the beauty. Very clean. Very friendly. Only negative I could say is, you are undercharged. Worth for even 100$ per night. (Spoiler: They have 2 peacocks)

I actually enjoyed staying there. The family was amazing, very welcoming, kind, and always ready to help if you needed anything. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet place away from the noise and busy city life. If you want a relaxing and comfortable stay, this is definitely the best place to go.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very spacious and felt like a home away from home. She even provided extra using stuff for the house which was amazing and really thoughtful. She was an amazing host and my Nigerian husband really felt welcomed and would rebook it again

Katherine was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The place was brilliant, great value for money and great location; we felt right at home. Kennedy and his crew (chef and house help) were exceptional! The food they cooked was amazing. They helped us to source fish fresh for dinner. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall, it was a wonderful place; we would stay here again easily!

Home away from home, Agnes was very supportive and made our stay comfy definitely will recommend the place to family and friends. Quite area surrounded by Musasa trees felt like I was in the eastern highlands of Zimbabwe where I grew up.

A great, quiet spot, a bit off the beaten path. Lots of space - 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, dining room, living room, amazing garden. Kitchen is sparse so bring your own salt, oil, etc - but they had the utensils and appliances we needed. Anwar was a great communicator, and Edith kept the place very clean! Garden was magnificent with unparalleled access to the beach.
