The cabin is part of a small retreat with a shared garden, pergola, firepit, hammock, and lemongrass used for herbal tea. There is no swimming pool, the beach is about a 10-minute walk. Electricity is primarily supplied by a solar system with battery storage, with city electricity used as backup when needed, as is common in Zanzibar.
