The host is Yoshiro, the 24th head of the Urushiyama family, who was born and raised in this house. 420 years ago, the host's ancestor was a samurai who lived in the same era as Tokugawa Ieyasu. Vivid episodes from that time have been passed down through the generations. Dai, a Siberian husky, is a very friendly dog and the mascot of our inn. His job is to greet and see off guests. Sometimes he goes for a walk with guests.
