The apartment (45m²+ private patio) is located on the banks of the Saône, a 5-minute walk from the historic old Lyon district. Located on the 1st floor (no elevator), hillside of an old building on the bank of the Saône river, the building corridor is a little rustic (17th century). The apartment has been fully redesigned, keeping its authenticity. I made it my refuge, away from the hustle and bustle of Lyon. However, this place is not to everyone’s taste 😊. I describe later the pros & cons.

These apartments were in the 19th arrondissement, the den of the Canuts, those workers who lived and worked in the midst of huge silk looms. Bright and ideally located between the Terreaux and the plateau of La XRousse. Close to all shops, Vival, bakery, pharmacy and the famous La XRousse market, as well as excellent bars and restaurants

The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (without toilet) will provide comfort and privacy to the occupants. 2 separate toilets. This place is not a party place. No noise pollution will be tolerated in the condominium and apartment.

For a short or long stay, you will be in the historic heart of Lyon in this apartment that my wife and I renovated for 6 months until February 2021. It is located on the top floor -with a view - in a typical building, dating from the 19th century, 100 m from Place des Terreaux and Hôtel de Ville de Lyon, less than 200 m from the metro station "Hôtel de Ville" and the main bus lines (C3) , and about 5 minutes from Vieux Lyon on foot.

Get ready and put on your sneakers to venture into the traboules of the neighborhood and their stairs!
